I play with 1400 star 15 x 15 maps with everything manual all the time. It looks a lot more daunting than it actually is. But I do so enjoy being that involved.

With the wide variation in possible settings and individual preferences, what will make Game of the Month work going forward is a willingness from us all to try different settings.

I play manual and find this map to be too small. I really don't like the race. I prefer Shadows Age over Classic Age. However, I have enjoyed playing the Game of the Month anyway ...

I play manual too, and this map isn't overwhelming me at all. Also, this race happens to fit my playstyle nicely.

The game of the month is meant to be open for a month. So play whenever you want

Regarding map sizes, this is a medium size map. If there is interest in a small map for future games, that is easily done.
