RE: 1926 Campaign goodboyladdie (A) vs Dixie (J)
DD Tatnall (49/64/20) and DD Sproston (47/55/20) are both running for Pearl Harbor. If I dock them at Johnston (size 1) they'll just sink...
The CAs and DDs that were sent to Dutch Harbor have finally arrved at Los Angeles to complete their interrupted repairs. The crews have knocked a couple of system damage points off on the way down. 23rd BS, VB-1 and VB-1B have arrived at PH and are unloading with about 20,000 tons of supplies.
All China Station DDs will sail from Kendari to Manila (see screenie) to escort the damaged AK and CL out.
2 unmodified USN DDs arrived at Singapore. 1 will head for Colombo for upgrade, while the other heads for Diamond Harbour. S-35 (21/18/0) has disbanded at Hong Kong.
16th Chinese Corps has split into Brigades. 1 will remain at Jehol, 1 will protect the river crossing to the South, while the third will head to Luda to reinforce the 1st Chinese Cavalry Corps.

1 Steel AK was taken in hand at Mare Island for conversion to AK.
A Jap task force was spotted South of Midway. It is supposed to be at least three CVs, but could just as easily be a single sub! I have brought the Pacific Fleet up to readiness just in case. They will await developments under the growing air force at Pearl Harbour - 3 attack squadrons and 45 fighters.
BB Missouri moved on from Rabaul and is heading for Kendari on the next leg of her goodwill tour.

As the screenie shows, I have lost sight of Martin's CV force. I reckon tomorrow they might be in range of Pearl...
S-39 used her last torpedoes and is on her way to Manila to rearm. Now Singapore is size 9 I have sent my minelaying subs out: L-1 to Hong Kong, L-2 to Kuching.

RE: 1926 Campaign goodboyladdie (A) vs Dixie (J)
My DDs at Dutch Harbor will conduct minesweeper ops.
DD Sproston is now 55/75/1 and 3 hexes short of PH. She will make it as long as Martin's CVs do not show up. The other option for the CVs is the subject of the screenie. DD Tatnall is 60/88/1 and has 5 hexes to go - she will not make it.
1st UK FA Rgt is unloading at Hong Kong. S-33 needs to rearm so has left Takao for Manila. S-30 will head to Takao from Naga, while S-34 moves up from Vigan.

RE: 1926 Campaign goodboyladdie (A) vs Dixie (J)
The DDs that started at Pearl Harbor have arrived at Los Angeles to complete repairs after upgrade. I appear to have sent transports to pick up a Division from San Diego that actually arrived in the other game - not my brightest moment...
There are now 4 DDs minesweeping at Dutch, although only one appeared to be doing any sweeping on the combat report. DD Sproston, damaged by a super sub at Johnston Island, disbanded at Pearl with damage 60/94/0. Her similarly damaged sister, USS Tatnall. had to be scuttled as her flooding was 95 and she was still 4 hexes short of Pearl. There is still no sign of the reported CVs. The screenie shows the hopefully fatal damage to a Jap sub at Midway.
In China I have ordered the 2 USN PGs still at Shanghai to bombard the Jap SNLF there. The justification I shall use when Martin moans will be continued sniping from the Japanese garrison. We'll have to see how he deals with it, bearing in mind the presence of the Chinese Navy in Shanghai's repair yards and British artillery ashore...

I'm curious - what are Japanese troops in Luzon doing? I would have expected them to enter Bataan and Manila hexes by now. Have you noticed any buildup at all in that area?
Can you post the victory summary screen and some sunk ships? I'm mainly interested in Japanese destroyers - they can run out very quickly.
Are you playing with sub doctrines on or off?
Thanks!

I did not see this in time to take action I'm afraid. I will sort the requested screens next turn. Sub doctrines are off I believe.

The CV sightings must have been subs because nothing has turned up. Next turn I will stand down any Pac Flt ships with damage.
At Manila AP President Madison and at least one DD arrived unnoticed at some point. I must remember to not hurry turns... The screenie shows all the ships that need to be escorted out of Manila. All the China Station DDs are halfway from Kendari. When they arrive I will evacuate my damaged ships.
In China I cancelled the US PG bombardment of the Jap SNLF. It was completely ineffective.

No problem. I'll post a summary screen and Jap DD losses screen from each. If I get time I'll also try include a Luzon map with mouseovers so you can see what I can see.

RE: 1926 Campaign goodboyladdie (A) vs Dixie (J)
ML San Francisco (22 points of sys damage) disbanded at Los Angeles. 20,000 tons of supplies from Mare Island is being unloaded at Anchorage. The last 2 DDs sent to Dutch Harbor have joined the minesweeping force. This is possibly a ploy to get me to send a small force to be ambushed, so I'll have to pull them back to Anchorage as soon as they finish with the minefield.
