Seems a bit pointless, it being 2009, but sure, knock yourself out.

AE is coming and football season is just around the corner..............[&o].

This is not a plus.

I just finished about a month of basic freedom with my gig. I start long days again on...

....you guessed it...

Monday July 27th. Dammit. I like my gig but football can be such a pain in my ass at times.

Rob... I want to wish you guys a fun trip east this year, but hope that ultimately y'all go home disappointed! [;)]

Go Dawgs!

BTW: once again, thanks to all the guys on the AE team. I'm looking forward to playing with the product of your labors...

It certainly is.....on Monday I have a dental procedure that will set me back some $500 so purchase will have to wait a bit.

Thanks Eric and all concerned who were part of this massive effort. I am wondering if games of the future will involve players to the degree that AE has. For me just getting through the 330 page manual and coming away with any understanding will be a personal feat.
I remember reading the WitP manual (about 1/3 as long) at least 3 times before some of it stuck. I never have understood the supply rules LOL. Unfortunately
I have a rather expensive dental procedure on Monday Morning that will put off me buying it for awhile. Not all a bad thing as I have difficulty playing WitP against the AI let alone a PBEM game due to the time in volved so I can only wonder how much more time will be required for AE. I hope it is not reached that point where it becomes more work and time consuming than it is worth it for an old fart like me but owning it will be a must even if I just play some of the shorter games that will be coming out. So thanks again

I am not sure you remember me but you were kind enough to retrieve my SN after I reported to you the game Disk was taken from my home by some unknown scumbag. I very carefully stored it but just had a start remembering where I put it. I found it

Its kind of like when they found this talking elephant they asked him on the tonight show
"how do you account for your remarkable memory Mr. Elephant?"
The elephant replied
"Well I just write down everything in my little black book"
So the host asked
"can we see this little black bok?"
"sure you can" replied the elephant....."now...lets see....what did I do with that blasted little black book....?

It may be awhile before I can buy the AE game due to a large dental bill on Monday but I will get around to it as soon as I can

Prepare to lose all track of time and surroundings. I suggest that you arrange with your better half the occasional delivery of sustenance to your domain, take plenty of video/pictures of yourself for your offspring, and install a leave-to at your desk…

slightly off topic but I guess all the planets must be aligning right or something..............AE goes gold and Mark Buehrle of the White Sox tosses only the 18th perfect game in ML history!!!!

I'm just glad it wasn't against my Royals, they have it hard enough....

AE out just as my wife and I are leaving for vacation for a week. [&o]

Many thanks to the AE team! I get to end July on a high note, and I expect August to be pretty frantic too [:)]

You may be right... Mark Richt's teams seem to do better in the opponent's home stadiums than in Sanford Stadium somehow. I was just happy to be partying on Bourbon Street last October!

You may want to check out the SECFanatics forum. It seems to be the sports forum least populated by jerks...

I'm assuming this game will have the same effect that UV,civilization and WitP had. I'll lose ten pounds because I can't be bothered eating.
My wife will come in the room..."Do you want something to eat?"
No, thanks
"Do you want something to drink?"
No
"Don't you have to go to the bathroom?"
Well...not anymore[:D]
