At anything other than 100% zoom the post body font looks nasty - all spidery and difficult to scan-read. It's not great at 100% either. Can we choose another font for post body text?

2) I thought I read somewhere about someone putting the forum into "wide screen mode". Is that really a thing? If so, how to do it? I don't like having the huge black bars on both sides of the forum on my desktop monitor.

OK....I've bought many of your games. Maybe 40? I love them. But I don't like the new web site, and I can't quite explain why. I just can't find things. And is really bothers me now because I actually need something in it to play WITPAE. I posted something (about Tracker....won't work for me) on the wrong place in one of the forums, and need to find the correct one, but the layout and visual display confound my old and tired eyes. I might have found what I needed on the old version; I was used to it and could navigate around it somewhat easily. The new one makes me dizzy just looking at it. Don't know if it's the color scheme, lay out, or my advanced age, but for some reason I just don't like it. Having said that I've never used the Slitherine site (for FOG or Empires for example) because I did not like it compared to the other one at MATRIX. Sorry for venting, but I need to post a help request for Tracker and can't find out how to. And for pages with 100s of posts I can't seem to jump to the end, or tell when I have. Something here is just not right.

First, please try the tips earlier in this thread (Control-Mousewheel to zoom in, switch to Wide format in your options), also listed here:

Second, the search function on the new forum actually works.

The forum organization is the same as it was before, so the forums are exactly where they were in terms of their order.

Also, it might be worth putting something in place to stop GIANT signature images, like the one two posts above this one.

It’s not that big on my iPhone and not on my desktop I do have a 5k HD monitor so it looks small to me.

I've just compared several of the images that I posted for one of my mods on this site to the same post I made on a couple of other sites.

I do not like what the new forum is doing to my images. The colors are too bright and over-saturated.

In particular, there are several images of dark blue counters, but on the the new forum they appear to be light blue.
(And I know what they're supposed to look like because I've got the game and also posted the same images on other forums).

It looks the same which is weird, because in Paint.net there is a significant difference it the image at 100% and at 60%. So the new Forums must be somehow rescaling the image. I am using an off site cloud image. But when I post in my AARs or screenshots of games those seem to be scaled per the forums, just not the signature it seems.

So the new Matrix Forum is doing splendid with scaling images in posts, but is not doing so great with images in Signatures.

That is something out of my control since I uploaded a 60% sized image for my signature.

Here is another issue with the forum, as you can see above, it is still doing double posts.

One thing you can do is remove the image, at least temporarily. All of your posts make this part of the forum almost unreadable.

I'm not trying to have a pop at you but 80-90% of your post screen size is signature fluff; eats up a lot of screen acreage and makes the forum awkward to scan.

Getting rid of sig images entirely, for every user, would improve browsing no end.

Well I think at least on my end on my Desktop and iPhone my signature is now much better. It does not seem that big to me.
