I have emptied my backlog of to-read books and finally started H-Hour!

Great read, the characters aren't two dimewnsional as in many other books of this kind; the plot is gripping.
Obviously is a great companion while playing the set, btw I have started playing NF now.

But it's not only enjoyable if you play CMANO, I think I would have read it nonetheless.

Thank you Bart and Joel, roll ahead with volume number two and... do not forget the Med [:D]

Thank you for your kind words. I think you'll like the next scenario which should come out for testing in the next few days.

Well as always I'm late to the party. Got the book and I'm on chapter 53 and I can't put the book down. I keep getting the urge to look at the last chapter to see who lives and who doesn't but I stop myself and keep on reading to the next chapter.

I guess that if an Army guy can play with ships, I guess a former Marine/Army guy, I can too [:)] but a quick question, which Northern Fury scenarios do I need? I see that in numerous Community Scenario Pack Northern Fury #1 to #39. But I also see Northern Fury scenarios 1 -10.1 so which ones?

Glad you're enjoying the book!

The Scenarios in Community pack #40 are the most current. They are numbered sequentially (with a couple gaps) from 1-42. Any you find with decimalized numbers are older - when I kept adding new scenarios in the middle. I renumbered them all about a year ago.

There are also a few on the Mods & scenario page for testing.

A good scenario guide for folks just starting these scenarios is here: http://northernfury.us/blog/post13/
- some are quite difficult.

Cheers and hope you enjoy

I'll be doing an interview about the book tomorrow Sunday 21 July at 1200 EST. Here's the Facebook blurb: https://www.facebook.com/993CountyFM/

And Joel has done a newspaper interview which will also be printed tomorrow. He's a tad busy at the moment but I'm sure he will share it with us when he has a chance.

I was just wondering how much attack plans (and such) have changed since 1993. I doubt that Iceland itself has changed very much. <lol>
