Guys can you please check if the B811 game speed & user interface has been restored in B816 [8D]

If not, could you let me know asap, and Ill post links for 812, 813, 814 and 815. And maybe you could give us a hand pinpointing the build where things went pear-shaped. Thanks!

Post-B811 builds really only fixes an edge case with the random generator. We're a bit baffled about the consequenses lol.

For me at least it was the transition from 814 to 815 that saw a performance drop, I will test 816 when I get back from work in around half an hour...

Cheers for your hard and speedy work :-)

I have been running one of my busiest scenarios, and I have to agree performance is now back to the speed we had before and smooth as hell. Thanks for a good job guys!

Quick question, are you playing without the Map Cursor box (black box)?

And B814 loads just fine? Just not B815 and B816?

And this is how it looks in B816 too? No map loaded?

Yes, it's been properly extracted. When I start up the game, I just get a blank screen. Screenshot is attached.

It's the Command.ini file. I deleted it and the game ran normally.

I have, however, managed to re-create the problem. When I go into the Game Options Menu and change the setting on Map Cursor Databox Visibility from the default (show on cursor) to Do not show, the problems re-appear and the game slows down dramatically. (But it doesn't seem to be a problem if I set it so that the Databox shows on the bottom.)

Fixed B817, thanks [8D]

B816

Closing the Kurile Gap, 2300+ Units and a hand full of SOSUS sensors just to complicate maters, and it runs like the clappers.

Well done. No performance issues on my side.

I normally play with the black box at the bottom of the screen. Should that be an issue though? I deleted the .ini file. B814 worked when I installed it before, though I don't have the installer anymore.

On Build 816, I am still having there same problems. Side selection and briefing window is incomplete until I move the mouse around, scenario start-up is very slow, Realism settings window hangs until I move mouse around, took around 45 seconds from clicking start for the actual game to start.

Problem only exists when I set the Map Cursor Databox Visibility to "Do not show" - Once I reset to show on bottom, the problem goes away and the game loads correctly and operates normally.

I've noticed a "coulour bug" in the last build.
Basically, the units considered hostile and display in red, switch to neutral/green for a few seconds before reverting to red in a totally random pattern. This bug seems only to affect visual display, since those units are still considered hostile by allied units and treated accordingly.
I cannot really provide a save since this is totally random.

Yes. It looks exactly the same as the previous screenshot, with no map loaded.
