And a world-view, also during the Summer turn. Note the Japanese also began to move out of parts of China - and the Chinese seized these territories.

Both Allied powers undertake an air offensive to break the Luftwaffe. The Allied fighters are somewhat inferior - but numbers make up for it. First, the Red Airforce attacks.

After previously taking out the Vichy regime, the Allies take Mussolini's Italy out of the war. These two moves are designed to squeeze Germany's esconomy before the final push.

Fall of 1944 sees the Allies hit Japan's airforce and the Russians take Hokkaido. At the end of Winter of 1945, the Allies develop the A-bomb - leading to Japan's surrender and staving off a bloody invasion of Fortress Japan. The situation sometime during the last turn - showing the formidable Japanese defenses.

The situation sometime during the last turn - showing the formidable Japanese defenses.
Fortifying Japan was one of the few things I did right I guess. I even managed to improve AA air attack and artillery land attack. [:)]
Too bad that I forgot to use the kamikaze option, I wanted to see what can be done with it.

Thanks to you for an - ahem - inspiring match and a nice AAR. To those wanting to read the story from my point of view and with lots of pictures, go here. Don't forget to brush up your German first though! [:D]
