It occurred to me that after 1.804 and 1.806 were published there was not that much noise here.
Of course, a couple of guys pointed out what they think has (still) to be fixed (and there IS somethink to be fixed still).
However, after reading so many posts dealing with critizising the product, the general design, the human interface and what have you I feel we all should not forget that this is a product which has been released quite some time ago, and STILL is supported and updated on a regular base.
So please join me in congratulating the publishers Matrix/3by2 for all what they are doing for us.
And, may be more important, please join me in a big applause for Joe, Don and others who do an awfull lot of good work (which probably isn't that much fun) without being paid.
They do that for us.

Thank you guys.

Cheers
Rainer

Hear Hear, I fully agree with you.

This game is a monumental accomplishment.

It's the only "monster" game that I've ever taken an interest in.

Thanks to all involved and keep up the good work!

I only wished they released it now instead of the state that they did a couple of years ago, it would have probably been a lot more popular.

While playing UV I eagerly waited for WitP to come out and purchased the download the first month after its release.  (UV distracted me from the actual release date).  Sure there have been a few bumbs in the road along the way, but I've never been disappointed and have never regreted the, (what was it?) $70 I invested in this game.  Wow this has got me thinking.  How long has WithP been out now?  3, 4, 5, years?  Nov. 2002 sounds familiar.  Is that right?  [X(] Oh my god!!  Have I been holed up in my game room for five years?  Maybe I should go out and see if my wife is still around.  No that seems to be OK, someone is pushing a couple of sandwiches under the door every morning, and there's always beer in my fridge.  Ok, now I've got to get back to reorganizing the Japanese Navy.

I've said it before and I'll repeat it anytime anyone is interested in hearing it, [&o] Great work to everyone at Matrix past and present. [&o]  And also thanks to all the wonderful and interesting members of this forum as well.

WitP was released at Origins (last week of June) in 2004.

Thanks Sonny, Guess I'm not as old as I thought I was.

You know what? This means that WitP is coming up on it's third anniversary (June 2004 - June 2007). I say we all crack open a cold one and offer up a toast to honor the occasion. Cheers and Happy Birthday WitP
