I cannot help but think that great results would have been obtained had my views been thought better of; yet I am much inclined to accept the present condition as for the best.

Great to see that you are taking up another AAR. You are a good story teller and the context is very well done. While I'll root for your AAR, my heart is with the North [;)]. I am sure that I am not alone that I'm hoping your computer hangs in there [&o]
Thank you for your kind compliment. With all battles being played out by Quick Battle, there are no guarantees, even with the Southern advancements which are being employed. I believe I am a better story teller than game player, so the North will probably win[;)] But I will give it a good run... I noticed in the news today that the University of Mississippi Rebel mascot has been replaced by a Black Bear with pants. This is undoubtedly a sad day for true Southerners. It's a shame that everything Antebellum Southern is looked at as racist. [:(] I love the history and culture of the Antebellum South, but am not a racist.

Ironic, the Black Bear is the mascot of our University of Maine, though it doesn't help our football team win much.
Rest assured I make no judgments other than you like to play this game and you tell a good story. If someone invaded my home I'd like to think that I'd fight first, and sort out the politics/ideologies later . We are all Americans, after all .

Sorry this has taken so long. Real life stuff gets in the way sometimes.
