There you can get to compare different infantry weapons for yourselves in multi-player mode. The Kar98k is slower but is more powerful & accurate, the Garand is faster and has more rounds but has greater recoil.

BAR and Stg44s are heavy squad MGs, with 20 rounds, or 30? I think for the Stg. They are more powerful but often lack enough ammunition to suppress (in MOH:AA)

Submachine guns are good for suppression and close-in building to building fighting. But are crap for long-range.
Heheh, we're offtopic here, but the Garand is an excellent weapon in MOH:AA, due to it's relatively high ROF and it packs more punch than the SMG's. Only setback is recoil and 8-bullet clips. I like the MP40 too, as it has a quite generous clip and is fairly accurate even at longer distances.

My favourite is the Springfield '03 sniper rifle. Talk about übersnipers! Rock steady aim! :D :D

Yup the sniper rifles are funny, its like you've taken a bunch of valiums you're so steady in MOH:AA hehehe. (Offtopic but I'm a sharpshooter in our ROTC with the M1A1)

I still find it too chaotic in a multiplayer game to use the sniper rifles though :D I guess it depends on the map, but usually its really hard to just stay in one spot since you'll never know who's behind you...

I also like the Bazooka hehehehe, who says Bazooka and Panzershrecks/fausts can't be Anti-Infantry!? :D

Heheh keeping the subject off-topic. It's funny how you can use Panzerschrecks and Bazookas inside buildings in Mo:HAA. What backblast? :D

I also like it how they modeled the .30 caliber and the MG42. You can really tell the difference, with the .30 cal firing much slower than the MG42, funny thing is though the MGs there never seem to run out of ammo hehehehe :D

I can attest to that! In MCNA I had a Pz IV knocked out by the MG on a type VI British tank once.
