I've changed the name of this thread, as its not just specifically "issues" with the game I have been listing here, but also feature that are not implemented, that I think would help a lot to make the game easier to play.

7.) The ability to move the location of an HQ independently of its attached units, without having to detach them all first.

8.) Selecting a unit from the OOB list, then displaying the unit info tab by pressing the hot key "n", does not update the unit display while the game is paused.

I have been messing around with another big scenario, "Cracking the Goose egg" and was thinking how useful it would be to have a "unit indicator light" on filter.

I'm referring to the little blue, amber, red light that lights up on the counters.
The filter would be added to the ALL; HQ; line units; armour; etc filter.

Its very hard in a big scenario to see where the action is, and this would aid in finding it tremendously.

The recent reports filter does not help mush with this as there are so many other reports coming in, like resupply, move complete etc.

Edit:
Cancel this request.
I have found that having the recent log entry filter on, and just looking out for the lights is good enough.

Hi Guys,

To add to Daz's list:

1. I would like the OB and reinforcement information to be available outside the game - like in a word document. I'm working on my plan for Elsenborn as the Axis and it is hard to figure which reinforcements are arriving.

2. Along the same vein, it would be useful to have copies of the maps - it would help my planning.

I like the ideas that Daz, and others, have mentioned on this thread.

Hi mike
have you had a look at my Elsenborn AAR?

tm.asp?m=3331688&mpage=3&key=

Slide 45 is a kind of reinforcement diagram.
Not one of my best efforts though I have to admit [:'(]

It has the arrivals queued up in the order they will arrive, at that part of the map.

If you need it explaining a bit more let me know.

Daz,

Wow, that slide is amazing. It must have taken a long time to put together. Thank you very much for sharing!
