Turn 4 - 10.7.-16.7.1941

South

Pocket definitely sealed but last turn I sneaked airbase inside so I hope it will survive for one extra turn. Also 2 divisions(Motorised and Rifle) were routed out of the pocket.

Turn 5 - 17.7.-23.7.1941

Factories evacuated:
Vsevolzhsky 8 Arms
Kharkov 15 Arms
Zaporozhye 4 Arms

North
I was hoping that Luga line will hold at least for one turn. Unfortunately Panzers were able to cross the river.[:(]

Turn 5 - 17.7.-23.7.1941

Center

As I have expected holding Dneper has been dangerous and 10 divisions ended in pocket. Ring is solid without any chance to open it. Supply has been delivered via airbase so pocket may survive for one more turn.

Turn 5 - 17.7.-23.7.1941

South

Thanks to airsupply from previous turn the pocket is still alive but airbase has been routed out of the pocket. Germans have been able to successfully attack across Dneper south of Kiev but did not had enough movement points to actually cross the river.

The 57th is unfrozen when a German unit is 3 hexes or less.

As do all other frozen units [:)]

Ok, ok, ok, go ahead and rub it in :-P I'm entitled to a "BLONDE" moment here and there! Although they happen a lot as you get older(to me at least). Now if you would give me back my CRAYON's Sillyflower I will hence forth go back into my corner and color yet again!

Turn 6 - 24.7.-30.7.1941

Center
Remains of the Mogilev pocket are still alive. Other than reducing the pocket, only limited German advance in the center sector. This time I have rather retreated behind next river because I can not afford to lose more units now.

Turn 6 24.7.-30.7.1941

South

New pocket in the south and another 7 rifle divisions will be doomed next turn in Kiev. I decided to not retreat from Kiev because Panzers would have been able to cut them next turn anyway. In Kiev they can at least survive for few turns.

Turn 7 - 31.7.-6.8.1941

South

Kiev still not isolated, Odessa firmly in Soviet hands, the situation in south is not that bad but many units have been lost and I have very limited replacements now.

Turn 8 - 7.8.-13.8.1941

Center

One river line broken, order of the day retreat behind next river. Center sector is gaining from the missing Panzer Korps that were moved to south. Thus the south is another story.

Turn 8 - 7.8.-13.8.1941

South

Kiev finally isolated, will try to keep it alive as long as possible via air supply. Unfortunately Panzers were able to cross two river line. On the bright side the second river is still in Soviet hands.
