You could simply add Romania and Finland as major, without remove Poland. Playing your mod (you know) I had a problem to conquer Poland because it never surrended (I had to eliminate the last unit before to see Poland surrended. just an unlucky event that can happen sometime), but it was strange to see Danzig (that in that specific situation was conquered by the polish) with the english flag on it instead of polish flag. It is not very accurate.

By the way did you think to add also Spain in majors group?

Well there is a limit of 8 Majors for a campaign, the addition of a nation such as Spain would be difficult as there is no guarantee they would ever join the war. The limit of 8 is also another reason I had to remove Poland. I am still looking at a solution to have Poland surender upon the Axis capturing Warsaw that will also trigger the split of Poland. I tried adding a surrender script but then the Molotov Pact would not trigger. A solution is out there I just have to figure It out.

Allied Turn

The UK has sent the B.E.F. to France to help bolster the shaken morale of the French troops who have witnessed Poland crushed in a matter of weeks.

Sitzkrieg Begins

German forces begin their March from Poland towards the French border. With the extra MPP plundered from the Polish surrender Germany invests in Advanced Tanks, Industrial Technology, as well invests 2 additional diplomacy chits towards Spain, while the Italians invest in Infantry Weapons.

In North Africa the Italian 5th Army has begun marching from Tripoli to join the Italian 10th Army currently stationed at Tobruk.

Sale of Naval Assets

I have decided to sell some Italian Naval assets under construction. While the ship (ETNA Light Cruiser) that would be launched to represent the ships holds a higher cost then the MPP we will receive, Italian MPPs are scarce and are much welcomed.

The Allies hunt the Graf Spee

The Allies (now by decision) have begun to hunt the Graf Spee, and provide naval protection in the South Atlantic from Axis Raiders which assures the Graf Spee's demise in the South Atlantic.

Germany and USSR have also agreed to revise the border agreement of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, while the UK have also seized some Irish ports.

Diplomacy

Another overview of the diplomatic situation in Europe. Due to recent events Switzerland and Ireland have moved from their neutral status towards Axis Leaning, while Portugal, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia have begun to lean slightly towards the Allies.

Invest in Regia Aeronautica

The total cost of this decision (700 MPP) can seem like a slam dunk for Italy but really requires a much larger investment into Italian technology (Ground Attack Weaponry, Advanced Aircraft etc.) to actually make the air force effective. As mentioned earlier, Italian MPP are limited and I have also mentioned the North African theater is tougher vs the Allied AI.

The decision is here to support overall Italian strategy, similar to how the previous ETNA decision was added to support Naval strategy if this fits with the overall Italian strategy. As my Italian strategy will be to focus on Ground Forces I decide No to this decision.

The Allies Strike In the Atlantic

The Deutschland Heavy Cruiser which was already in the Atlantic when the war began must have been spotted by Allied intelligence and was nearly sunk as a result. The Deutschland was not raiding and all alone in the middle of the Atlantic. I am not quite sure how many naval units attacked Deutschland and I highly doubt the Southampton Light Cruiser was able to inflict 9 damage. I will have to take my chances on which way to attempt to sail to safety to avoid being detected by one of the initial attackers and sunk in the process.

Near Norway I also see the Allies have begun raiding the convoy route and have cancelled over 75% of the income I would have received from the Norwegian convoy.

Still On the March

The Germans have begun to slowly arrive along the Western Front, and invest in Advanced Aircraft. In the Atlantic, the Deutschland Heavy Cruiser successfully sailed North West towards Greenland avoiding all Allied naval units in the process. Meanwhile Italy has invested in Infantry Warfare.

The Soviets Invade Finland

The USSR has invaded Finland to force the Finns into surrendering territory. Time will tell if they are successful.

Sweden Supports Finland

Finland has gratefully accepted support from Sweden in the Winter War against the Soviets. The downside is this will cut Sweden's Axis leaning by roughly 1/3 and makes the Swedish convoy's to Germany more vulnerable to Allied intervention.

On the Western Front there remains no action. Germany re-invests in Spanish diplomacy, and research Ground Attack Weapons while Italy increases investment in Industrial Technology and transports Graziani (HQ) to Tobruk.

Von Ribbentrop was dispatched to Portugal to expand our relationship with Portugal.

Western Build Up

The majority of German forces have reached the Western borders and will spend the remainder of the winter organizing into formations and upgrading their weaponry for the attack through Belgium and the Ardennes forest. Elsewhere in North Africa, Italy continues to ship infantry to Tobruk.
