When activating the Reinforce or Upgrade buttons, the unit Strengths or Upgrade Levels go to Green [which is great] but upon deactivating these modes, the numbers stay Green. Shouldn't they return to the state they were before Activation ? [Its an extra keyboard hit to return them to their previous state, which I don't think should be necessary].

I re-installed but I still get the error. Window pop up error PANIC CASCADE system execution failed. Seems it gets this when I try to host a challenge or do anything on the server.
From error log.

I've seen a naval retreat of enemy units through his own units and take losses. Can you check the code? Retreats through own units should not trigger the 1 strength point loss.- naval units can now pass through enemy naval units but may suffer a 50% chance of a 1 strength point loss for doing so.
This should be fixed now on my end.

I just noticed that those new buttons activate sometimes when I don't want them to. I payed more attention and it happens, for example, when I zoom all the way out, then click on Tobruk to zoom there. I'm not double clicking or slow clicking or drag clicking or anything like that. Just a simple click will activate one of those new buttons [repeatable].
I'm having a hard time seeing this on my end, if it is possible to be more detailed in exactly what you are seeing and how to repeat it that would be very helpful in tracking it down.
Thanks!
Hubert

Hi Hubert - Scroll out to third level farthest out zoom. Now click around Tobruk to zoom it back in one level. If where you clicked happened to be where one of the buttons is located, the button will become active.I just noticed that those new buttons activate sometimes when I don't want them to.
Actually, easier way to do it is to do it backwards. Place the mouse pointer over one of the buttons [Upgrade, Reinforce or Sleep], then use mouse scroll to zoom out to highest level, now don't move the mouse but click it so the map zooms back in, and it will activate whatever button the mouse was over.

In the last version the morale indicators for surrendered countries was set to 100%, but for this version it has gone back to 50%. I don't know if that is meant to be, but either way it still seems a little odd. Wouldn't it be better if was at 0%, or blacked out ?

I'll think about this some more, we just wanted the display of surrendered countries to go back to what it used to be but perhaps 0% makes more sense for a surrendered country... at least for the display of its current morale until it re-enters the war.

I feel like at a glance those NM Levels should be obvious, but when they are surrendered and show 50% or 100% it makes me think for a second. It should look different, an all black line, or yellow [surrendered!] Maybe it's just me [:)]
When we click on Upgrade, we can right click to deactivate it, but if we right click while the mouse is over a Resource, we get this display, which doesn't disappear until we scroll it off screen.

The upgrade tool button does not work over a city if there is a unit in it. I tried hiding all units with the h hotkey but that would not do the trick.
Could you implement a dialog for the cases there is a unit to be upgraded in a city which can also be upgraded, alternatevely make it so if units are hidden the city can be upgraded.

For Resources, this would be a neat addition. We already have the right click dialog, so if a unit is on a Resource there is no need to click the button shortcut, just go straight to right click.make it so if units are hidden the city can be upgraded.
RE: Strategic Command v1.03.01 Beta available
It's impossible to download beta vers. 1.03.01 beta from all two sites.
RE: Strategic Command v1.03.01 Beta available
I had to go to the Store and Login and then scroll thru the list to SC3 and click the Member Link to get to a download link.
RE: Strategic Command v1.03.01 Beta available
Both links still do not work. How can we do?
RE: Strategic Command v1.03.01 Beta available

RE: Strategic Command v1.03.01 Beta available
Sorry
I'm slightly at a loss over what to suggest
Just tried this link again https://www.matrixgames.com/members/pub ... sp?gid=504
Click on the Zip Download for Strategic Command WWII: War in Europe PC Update v1.03.01 Beta and it downloads...
It seems odd that a firewall would block it, do you get any sort of error message or warning?
regards
Ben Wilkins

I just noticed this too, i.e., where naval units passing through their own units can suffer a 1HP loss.
So I take it this will be fixed in v1.04, when it is released and not before, right?
Thanks,
C

The next Beta, v1.03.02 should fix the naval units passing through their own units and suffering a strength point loss issue.
