1. Does that mean at some point the "Steam Collection" will be added to the warfaresims download in whole or will there be a separate download pack to be found in the download section at warfaresims?
2. Is there a separate place outside of Steam, that one can go to get and download current Steam Scenarios?

Thank u Sir.

1) Adding the Steam collection link to the WS website is entirely up to them, I have no control over that.

2) The current version of the CSP can always be found HERE on the WS website. It is not connected to Steam in anyway. Simply unzip and place in your "Scenarios" folder in your game installation location.

Hope that helps.

One other thing that should be noted, due to CMANO no longer receiving database updates this release and future releases will only work with CMO.

Putting a note to that effect on the download site could save some confusion... [;)]

After downloading the latest version (and deleting old scenarios) in side selection and briefing menu, text for briefing is missing for many scenarios:
Good Morning Malvinas, 1982
Memphis Goes North, 1981
Offensive CAP Belarus, 2015
etc.

I checked all three of those and then some extras. Side briefing is in all of them.

Thanks for pointing this out. I just downloaded and installed it on my Surface and seemed to have the same issue. Nothing I did should have caused that to happen. Unfortunately its going to be a few days before I can look at it. We just got told our office is shutting down and we are shifting to working from home and I need to prep a workspace at home for that tonight.

Stay healthy and stay safe!

I have noted the same on some I have designed. Black Sea, 2019 for example.

I am pretty sure I deleted all the scenarios and them loaded them in. I'll try it again and see if it works then.

I know for sure I did and sadly emptied the recycle bin. I'm having the same issue.

Also, I don't know if this is related but with this version, the bug were opening the Description in the scenario editor locks up the software has crept back in. Lost a LOT of work by not saving before I tried to edit the description.

Correct. Same here. I deleted the old CS folder and placed this new one in its place and so far I've checked 6 with no briefings (6 for 6).

If you use the new B1139.2 release, the problem should no longer appear.

Regarding Steam, couldn't all scenarios be put in a single mod to facilitate updates? It doesn't matter too much that each scenario is individually available on the workshop (unless the devs want to have a critical mass of mods on the workshop?).

I've done some digging on this. Unless I'm missing something, CMO only supports .scen files. it doesn't support any sort of generic .mod file.

I looked at the CP zip and what is missing are the scenario attachments (which end up in Command\AttachmentRepo) . These are included when you package up a scenario under a folder called 'attachments'.
Uploading the scenario thru CMO using the Steam Workshop does send them to the Workshop and when you subscribe, the scenario attachments are correctly loaded now]
[Once you load the scenario, they are moved to the Repo so that might explain why they are missing from the ZIP.]

Some scenarios have their own overlays, imports, etc.

Scenario attachments where never part of the CSP. If Meroka missed them, well, I'm not going back through almost 500 scenarios looking. If there's a specific scenario that someone is having an issue with I'll look into it.

Overlays used to be a separate download on the WS website but looks like its no longer available.

Just bought CMO and downloaded the latest community scenario pack.
When I try to launch one of the community scenarios I get this error:

"ERROR: You have (explicitly or implicitly) attempted to load a database that does not exist on the DB folder."

What is it looking for?
