The Ark Royal is in the Med and hits our BB Caio Duilio for 2 steps. With strong Allied air in the area we decide not to interfere.

We get our second carrier! Still need three turns to fully upgrade it.

Germany gets the Graf Zeppelin. Weather is still bad but preparations are in place for our great summer offensive.

The war starts in the east. Well not really, all we do is set up a defensive line.

Because the great summer offensive is in Scotland. No matter the cost we will take Glasgow.

The combined Axis fleet gathers in Brest. We will allow no further US reinforcements of Scotland.

Our carriers fail to locate a large US fleet off Iceland. It rains over most of Europe.

What follows is no less than the Battle for Midway, but in the Atlantic.

First we engange with our subs (no hits) and then our surface fleet - as expected we take heavy losses.

Then comes the main action. Sadly we lose a carrier.

But our final counter-strike is decisive! No more Allied carriers!

Total Axis naval losses this turn:
1 Carrier
2 DD squadrons
3 German submarines, that's all of them! Sunk off Scotland by Allied airpower. Their sacrifice will not be forgotten, they kept Allied reinforcements away and the Allied airforce from bombing our land units.

In Scotland progress is extremely costly, but it is just a matter of time.

The Soviets are attacking desperately in the east but not really getting anywhere. Nothing can save Scotland now, indeed the Americans need to be careful or they'll be cut off.
