but losses should depend on the strength of the allies and germans
Losses should be higher if allies are stronger/much stronger than german and lower if nearly equal or if germans are stronger

Just true for West Front.

At less would be fine have an opportunity to fight.

I am totaly agree with you about that point. When German retreat from Normandy to the West wall, it was a strategic decision not a gamey. The fact that tey loss a great part of their army in Normandy is also a strategic decision. German had had always the oppotunity to retreat to West wall before total disaster maybe not a good political decision but maybe a good strategic decision.

No, you're not the only one :D I mean, it's the logical thing to do the way the game is. But I think it's kinda gamey and was suggesting a house rule or something against it ;)

Stop no more house rules, let some liberty(ies) for players. If we continue like that we will be more and more bind house rules hand and foot without any more liberty to play the (game) historical recreation.

Crazy Horse, I do not understand the reason for your protest  There is no 'WiR police' :D to force you do anything. You can play with whatever house rules you like or none at all if you prefer. As for history - it is definitely more historical playing with the current house rules than without them.

Forget about that, it was just a mood swings regarding the increasing of houses rules. Looks like Lorenzo House Rule become obsolete.

But I confess I am not looking for a perfect historical game but well a chalenging game. IMHO the new houses rules that appear on the forum, are more for historical reasons that for balancing reasons or have I wrong.

Marc
