Each Pacific hex is 4x as large as a European one so spotting ranges have been adjusted accordingly.

So a 3 hex CV air mission in the Pacific is a 6 hex mission in Europe.

Land based air can crippling bombardment fleets.

You should be operating CV fleets at the max distance.
