Add my $.02 worth (and bump this message as well).

Working in the IT industry is a lot like working for the Police. Nobody calls the Police to report that their car was not stolen. The customers (public) expect that their car will not be stolen - and are surprised and indignant when it is.

No one calls programmers/support/developers to tell them that their product is good - we expect it to be good - when find a problem we are surprised and indignant - we call/email/post to complain. Such is the nature of the IT industry.

This is not to bash those that pick nits and sow discord. Some of the best discussions I've read started as a "Why can't/won't I/it do (fill in the blank)? Constructive criticism is good - sometimes it gets a little out of hand - but this forum as a rule is the most informative and objective I've ever cross across - I'm sure those that lurk and those that post would agree with that.

So, without further adieu. Best Damn Game I ever got for nothing. I'd make a good argument that SPWAW is the best damn game I ever got period. My thanks to WB, Paul, and all the others. I'm gonna name my next dog Matrix

Well Matrix, I failed to see you listed for any acanemy awards, even tho I think you should have taken the whole kaboodle. You boys have got my vote and support wholeheartely, and you will get my money when you start releasing your games. I can just picture Wild Bill stirring up the cauldron devising new ways of frustrating us. You boys are going to have to break out your pigging string and tie him up before he goes beshirk. (Thats OK Bill, just keep the herd milling). Say, can you boys include a Italian English dictionary using pictures??? My own English is not the best. I've got to prepare for an assault from the Mediteranum area and I can't find a boy in these hills who speaks Italian. My inteligence staff are only limited to a six pack a day. Thanks Matrix for a great game and keep up your good work.

I would like to say, "We who are about to collapse, salute you." (Anyone know what the Latin for that would be?).
If you just said: "We who are about to die, salute you" it would be much more easier.... :D

Anyway, where in this hell is my latin book?!?
You're guilty of this, gentlimen, how do somebody expects me to clear up this thing when I can make one more turn of W@W instead?!

Joaquim,

I know it would have been easier, it's Morituri te salutamus. That's why I asked what the other would be.

Then it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Tommy, 'ow's yer soul?" But it's "Thin red line of 'eroes" when the drums begin to roll!

I hope that all of you are aware that one of the supreme motivating factors that keeps us going is this kind of response.

We have been blessed with a wonderful community out there who patiently supports our efforts.

Having been involved with the Steel Panthers Games since 1995, TGN since it started and now as a part of Matrix, I've been in touch with a lot of people.

I've heard a lot of voices, some crying for blood

This forum, however is refeshing and invogorating, at least for me.

At the end of a long day working on this Mega Campaign or designing new scenarios for this and other games, I come here to get a moral and emotional boost. You fellas never let me down!

Thank you!

Just a little correction:it's "morituri te SALUTANT" and not "salutamus" :)
As for the translation of "collapse" I'll revert later  : my last translation from Latin took place almost 20 years ago :( :(

All I can say is, "a job well done Matrix". Some people are hard to please, best to just ignore them.
