Wow, Certainly a flurry of activity since the last time I was in this thread!
Regarding bridges blowing I hope in my next HTTR campaign I see a bridge go up - even playing as Allies... Like I mentioned, I played all the major campaigns [twice

] and got every bridge from the enemy intact as Allies.
Those screenshots of erupting bridges give me tangible hope

I still love this shot of Nijmegen Bridge going up....

Regarding these ahem,- comments ..... [;)]
Bring a radio in the same room as the computer, that solves about everything music related...
This must be sarcasm too, right
?
I believe it's a valid point about including music... Most games have the game option for players to lower or turn off background music. I certainly do this in first-player shooter games. But in strategic games having the option at least doesn't hurt things at all.
It would faciliate not having to setup a radio/cd player for background music. Personally, I'm honestly bored at times just hearing gunfire/explosions.... Something more un-monotonous as an option would be refreshing - if possible.
If the background music could be anything like the fabulous introduction score, there may be a few more converts who may try it out and actually like it.
Regarding the Airstrike realism comment I made earlier; I NOW see your point as valid and as I stated in an email on that point, perhaps my zeal for seeing enemy units crumbling in an airstrike was swayed by my used to seeing footage film of convoys in road fomations being blasted. Ground units in battle formations would certainly fair better, and I suppose significant airstrikes couldn't realistically be called in on road-moving units miles away from the front line and out of sight. The weather affected/scant Allied airstrike opportunities of the Market Garden campaign would certainly be engaged in close-support activities rather than the free-roaming tactics afforded in say, the Normandy campaign.
I have another question regarding airstrikes. What is actually being
said during the Airstrike as it hits a target? Is it the pilot or targets yelling?
