When is it ever a good choice?

Only when the choice was between it and contaiminated water![X(]

Fences say "This is mine, bugger off!". It's a controlling thing. They symbolize one of the major reasons we broke away from the UK. Don't forget , the original draft of the Declaration said "Life, liberty and property".Other countries don't care about fences , they figure "why worry , _______ will just take it from me any how. ". So I feel that fences fill a deep psychological need to "Mark our territory".

As Robert Frost said in "Mending Wall" , "Good fences make good neighbors". [:D]

Taking the kid to sleep over at a friend's house, and have laid in "Sherlock Holmes" and "The Blind Side" to watch with my lovely bride as we wait for the rains to roll in.  It's a good Saturday.  [8D]

I wonder where that couch myth started. None of the psychiatrists and psychologists I've encountered have had any.

I truly have no idea. I've never consulted either , but have heard friends and neighbors in those professions refer to "putting someone on the couch". My understanding fron college pych 101 and 102 classes is that traditional pychoanalytical methods called for a couch to relax on , but I don't think many current methods do. Anybody out there have 1st hand knowledge? [&:]

I actually peferred the "Declaration" version to the original version. And you are right , the tune is very catchy! I find the video humorous in the idea that our founding fathers would today be in a rock band! OK, I can visualize Sam Adams (The beer stien was a nice touch) and maybe Ben Franklin (would was an accomplished Musician as was Jefferson). But John Adams or John Hancock? [8|] No, but it is a very funny image![:D]

I'm actually quite proud that I was able to identify three of the Founders in the video (Jefferson, Franklin and Sam Adams). I guess John Hancock was the man with the big quill?[:D]

The "band" called themselves "TJ and the Revo"...[:D]

I agree, you should be proud of yourself. The charcters are more charactures then good portrayals. The tall, thin , elegant man I took to be Hancock (who was a very rich smuggler, and somewhat of a "dandy", as well as the richest man in Boston). The "blowhard" puffing out his cheeks I took for Adams. Sam Adams is a dead givaway due to the beer, Frankin looks like him and Jefferson famous as a redhead and for "fiddling around". [:D]
