If you place these .INST files in the Baseplate .SCEN attached in the first post it will make more sense.
For example the Soviet Ground Forces have area's attached per Army level and then Division level. This is also the case for the East-German army, air defense and also NATO.

I think I did this right...
I'm working on a Cold War scenario that involves Turkey and had to build four air bases/airports. I figured I might as well share them.
I used a combination of the topographic map view in Command and Google maps to figure out where things like hangers, runways, etc. were located. And I guesstimated anything where I could not find the actual information (e.g., location of underground fuel tanks, the exact size of hangers, unidentified buildings that I've simply listed as "medium building," etc.). The result is, I hope, four not-totally-accurate-but-game-functional air bases in Cold War Turkey that can be used when detail is needed (e.g., when someone is writing a scenario with an air raid).
I hope people find this fun and useful.

Two files: South Korea AD in 2024 and South Korean missile forces in 2021.
South Korean AD consists of all Patriot sites, as well as medium range Cheolmae-2/Cheongung SAMs.
South Korean missile forces contains known Hyunmoo ballistic and cruise missile bases in 2021, based on the work of Decker Eveleth (https://www.aboyandhis.blog/post/missil ... c-of-korea). Because some models of the Hyunmoo are missing from the DB, they had to be substituted with a different missile with similar characteristics. The bases include their organic SHORAD units.

Three files: PLA Eastern Theater Command AD, PLA Eastern Theater Command EW-ECM, and PLA Eastern Theater Command airfields (Ground Force, Navy, and Air Force) as single-unit airfields as of 2025. The PLA Eastern Theater Command is the unified combatant command that would have primary responsibility for operations against Taiwan or/and Japan.
Both the AD and EW-ECM files are based on the work of Jaidev Jamwal (https://jjamwal.in/yayavar/chinese-arme ... -and-sams/).
Because almost all radars are inside radomes, the radar system was "educationally guessed" by estimating the size of the radome and then assuming the largest possible radar was inside the radome, while also taking into account the intended roles of different Chinese radar types based on their technical characteristics and available literature describing China's ADIZ. This thus represents a "maximalist/optimistic" representation of China's radar network, and a scenario designer is encouraged to drop and change things as they see fit, either based on their own beliefs about China's capabilities or for the purposes of a scenario.
The EW-ECM file includes PCLS ("passive") radars. Note that these will require passive emitters (the radio, TV, and cell towers in the Generic section of the DB) to work. I considered making a file of such emitters to go with the EW-ECM file, but deemed it probably impossible as it is very common to "dress up" such towers to look like natural foliage—not for any military purpose, but to avoid spoiling the surrounding landscape. Because it would be hypothetical anyways, I decided to leave the creation of such facilities up to scenario designers, so that the placement may better suit their needs. Searching "radio stations near Taizhou" on Google Maps will give you a general idea of where some might be, but it only shows the offices of various broadcasters, not the location of their transmission towers.
You may note that some sites seem to contain a number of radars/sensors virtually on top of each other. This is because a large number of China's radar sites appear to be configured like early Cold War-era USAF radar sites: With multiple radomes, likely for different types of radars, which for the USAF meant a standard search radar and height-finding radar. This appears to contrast with both modern American and Russian radar sites, which tend to consist of a single radome. Some of the buildings and sensors also strongly resemble HF/DF sites operated by the JASDF, and thus they are represented as such.

The Persian Gulf Firestorm
It is the year 2017. The United States went "America First" and pulled every military unit back to its borders, leaving empty bases around the world. They also dismissed themselves from NATO, opening up the biggest void in global stability nobody expected.
Two years later, Iran decided to take advantage of Big Brother no longer watching over them. If they can dominate the Arab League and whatever NATO forces are in the region, the Gulf is theirs! First, the Musandam Peninsula must be taken before anything else can be done. By controlling the Strait of Hormuz, Iran will dictate 25% of the world's oil shipment without sinking a single civilian vessel. After that, they can do anything they want. Russia, China, and North Korea are on their side; who's going to seriously challenge the new empire?
This is a sandbox "campaign" I designed for myself to play for weeks on end. The problem was that without any scripting and LUAs, I was controlling everything on all three sides (Arab League, Iran, and NATO). Boring. So, I'm donating this to the CMO community to use as you see fit to those far better with scripting than I. It's not password protected so have at it. All sides has a full OOB and such, but I did not add civilians. There's already PLENTY of pieces on the board to deal with.
