I haven't even been able to get past this screen to load any turns.
Delete any trackerdb.* files, make sure you have the latest beta DLL and then try running it again.
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

I'm sure it is the wrong dll being used by both of you ... BUT

When you guys talk about latest Java version - you mean Ver6.29 right? Ver7 has / had a problem.

If I understood that correctly, have copied the dll from the AE folder into the tracker folder. Result is the same unfortunately. [:(]

It appears that the ship classes were not read in properly. Are you sure you're using the correct DLL (from the beta2 folder)?

Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

sorry to be a pain, one more question.

I´ve used an earlier tracker version for my last PBEM and back then it showed me regions like China, India, etc. Now when I want to check "regions" I only get Japan, which shows all my bases. Now I´m the Allied player and it shows my Allied bases when I click on Japan. Have I done anything wrong or do I have to "create" my regions somehow?

thx

ok, another question. Are the "default" regions of earlier tracker versions still available somewhere? I know how to create regions now but it probably would take me two and a halve days to look at the map, write down all the bases and then put them together to regions for tracker. For me, the regions that came with earlier versions were just absolutely fine. [&:]

Premade Region files are in the regioin-mapping folder. I'd use Kulls, as a starting point. File->Import Base-region file

So, I am running the latest beta, 1108r2.

Is it possible to run tracker? I've read a few posts here, and tried copying the suggested files into the main tracker folder, then double clicking on the exec jar file. I am more mac friendly, though I use a PC for AE, and I'm not even sure if I'm choosing the right file to run the program.

If it's possible, and it's not too much trouble, could you post a quick step by step approach to getting tracker running without abrieviations for file names? Sorry I'm so PC illiterate.

Thanks

If you're going to double-click something, double-click the WitPTracker.bat file. Did you read the set-up instructions (http://sites.google.com/site/witptracker/set-up)?

Thanks. Judging by your positive response, I assume then it is possible to run tracker even with the newest betas.

I just didn't know where to find those instructions. That should help. I'll give it all a try later when home and ask again if I have problems.

Yes, it runs under the newest betas. The next release will work better with respect to the bigger pilot pool.

Those instructions are on the same site as where you downloaded the program... [:D]

If you're still having problems, you know where to find us.
Delete the trackerdb.* files.

Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.
