OCTOBER 22, 1943

The Axis can't catch a break as cold weather allows the Allies to resume the offensive. All Axis ports are now captured. Not that it matters as the U-Boats have all been sunk.

In Finland the Russians close on Helsinki in a driving rain.

I am pretty shocked...

Even when he is gone it is interesting that the game just does not end...It should, but I did that once and it just keeps going until 1946.

NOVEMBER 19, 1943 TO MARCH 1944

I haven't posted in a while because there is not too much to post. The Germans have been surrounded in pretty much the same positions as shown below for several months. It is now March 1944 and the Allies are just waiting for clear weather to make the final push. Meanwhile the Finns are surrounded in Helsinki.

MARCH 24, 1944

Snow in most of Europe. The situation in East Germany and Poland. As you can see it hasn't changed much since December.

In Finland the Allies "bottom" what is left of the Kriegsmarine.

Good question. I didn't even check to see if it was Bratislava or Bresnau.

The meaningless (IMHO) Victory Screen.

I thank Hadros for a game well played. It may at times not have looked like it, but this game was very challenging.

I am too clinical for it to be a fun read. But hopefully players reading it will pickup a few tips to improve their own games.

Behind the words, there was a story of a war that was fun to follow! [;)]
