Behind the Scenes Discussions.
Western Allies.
(1) <=15% chance that the allies will get another impulse this turn.
(2) All indicators, with very high confidence, points to the likelihood that Germany will install Vichy; meaning that the "Battle for France" is lost.
(3) However; significant CW forces; specially 2 BEF armies, are currently inside of France and will very likely begin next turn "alone".
(4) But, the ability for CW to take a land in order to best move all these forces is significantly impacted by the loss of 5 CPs (2 sunk, 3 aborted) by German U-boats and Italian Subs in the North Atlantic last (axis) impulse.
(5) The impact of these losses is (currently) (a) 2 BPs under max production for the CW and (b) no impact on falling max production for France.
(6) Organized CW CPs in port are: (a) 4 CPs in Liverpool, (b) 1 CP in Valetta (Malta), (c) 2 CPs in Suez and (d) 1 in Aden.
(7) It is these CPs under a combine action (i.e., 2 naval moves for the Atlantic & 3 land moves for France) that will have to patch CW convoy lines to get back to maximum production.
(8) As will be covered in later posts this should be done with 1 CW naval move; but we know how MWIF has a mind of it's own when it comes to convoy lines and productions!
(9) But; I WILL make this work with my planned naval move.
(10) The CW will use their 2nd naval move to "replace" (i.e., ensure redundancy with) non-idle French CPs, which will have to return to base after the installation of Vichy.

USSR.
(11) Rain over Manchuria limits movement and significantly discourages combat operations.
(12) Also, rain over Europe limits moves to increase frontier garrison & "optimize" defense placements.
(13) So, this is a good impulse for the Soviets to take a combine and try (again) to sink IJN CPs.
(14) However; the Soviet only sub group, which is at sea in the Japanese Coast, is flipped.
(15) But; there's a good chance that the Soviet CA in Vladivostok can pass the IJN in the Sea of Japan into the Japanese Coast & search along with the flipped Sub Gp.
(16) The USSR will also use their combine to continue rebase air from the Eastern Front to the Asian Front (i.e., Manchuria).

CCP & Nationalist.
(17) Rain over Northern & Southern China limits movement.
(18) So, there's really nothing significant other than refining their defensive placements for either the CCP & Nationalist to do.
