My arty still cant get radio contact, Gobs arty is mean, lots of lil stuff (like gob himself) followed by 150's! (bastard):mad:

Did I break a rule?

We each lost a coupla cans that time, with the fight still raging across the valley. I'm starting to hit more Rangers south of the main fight, and Jess is trying to flank me by coming north at me from the bottom third of the map. If he surrenders to me now, I will show mercy on him.

Ouch. Didn't have a good round. Jess has a good depth on his forces, and I am forced to engage close tanks, only to be shot by far tanks.

I did discover that Jess's tanks have a soft and chewy exterior! In the form of an M9 bazooka team, or a Ranger squad. Quite a few Amerikaner are riding to battle.

The southern edge of the battle (just past halfway on the map) is a series of low ridges, with the shooting occuring from ridge to ridge.

On the north flank, most of the heavy woods are burning and smoke covered. I believe that most of the tanks in them are burning and smoke covered too.

Yeah, I am hurting. It's not the guns on those Sherman's that are killing me, it's their miracle armor! I can't count the number of rounds I have put into them, with no results. Realistic?

Anyways, that's not Jess's fault. I have also pressed the attack when I should not have.

But I ain't out yet, Jess!

Now you get to come at me for a little bit! I will give you a dose of your medicine!;)

Retreat! All up and down the line, panzers of various types are falling back, with a definately strange lull in the firing. The bottom third of the map (relatively open terrain, commanded by a large hill and a small hill) has only one destroyed Jackson as its only sign of war. The Jackson was killed at long range, and the area hasn't even seen a rifle round make a furrow in the ground! Not much happened my turn either.

The only action this round was one of Gob's crews tried to assault my FO Jeep.

Too quiet on the Western Front....

I can see on Sherman wayyyyy down south, and exchanged fire with him from wayyyyy up north. No hits. I think I know where the rest of the gaggle is.

The Storm has hit! Gob lost at least 4 tanks this round, I sent a platoon of hellcats down the bottom e-w road and lost 1 to a 105Rcl...but my 155's tore him up! I have the hill!

I killed three or four myself Jess! This is fun! I like losing, keep coming! Your 155's didn't quite suppress that 105mm Recoiless, not to mention the rest of his platoon. Poor little Hellcats. What's left of them!

Gob lost another 5 tanks...or was that 4, whatever, you dieing at a faster pace than me.. Hats off to those 105RCL's although!:(
They put almost an entire platoon of hellcats out of action, then I drove 1 of the 2 left right into a panzerfaust/Panther ambush!:mad: But alas, I can replace the losses.and Goblin cannot!

I gota hand it to Goblin...he is a hanger!

But it still seems over to me, I think he is doing one of two things...

1. Hanging onto a draw...

2. He has a mighty reinforcement group comming to kill me!

His Kingy is still there...tough nut to crack! the rest of his units seem to be Inf.

Oh! A panther killed a easy8 in the middle..

my arty is almost out of ammo, due to the Gob's "walking DF arty!

but still...the matter is at hand
