After seeing his reinforcements... I think maybe he could have taken those hexes! I had Spec Ops along his reinforcement's route, however, and they may have killed a couple. Either way, he is an excellent player, and won fair and square!

The casualties for those interested:

The US lost 408 men, 7 APC's, and 28 AFV's, plus 1 transport.
The Germans lost 593 men, 4 Soft Vehicles, 16 APC's, and 51 AFV's.
