we have yet to receive this so called note from AMERICA. If America thinks her empty threats against the imperial nation is scaring us from our glorious path then think again. I suggest America stop her empty threats before those threats end up on the doorstep of the white house. This all said, we do not wish war with the US and so as long as they stay out of CHINA, then they have no worries from us.

The Finnish militarists boasted a lot about their so called Mannerheim line, but it was no obstacle for the heroic Red Army. The so called Mannerheim Line has fallen!

Pres. Roosevelt: With most Japanese forces in China, I doubt they would be able to munt a second offensive against us.

Sec Hull: Not sure, it´s likely they will lose three cities in the next turn----censored---but they achieved some tactical victories last turn, at least 60 afv´s and 100 artilley pieces were destroyed. I believe they could hold until we are prepared

Pres Roosevelt: What about the message we sent to the Japanese ambassador?

Sec. Hull: I think so. They actually ignored our threats. We also placed some notes in the newspapers about four engine bombers, incendiary bombs and wooden houses, but they weren´t very impressed. Anyway, we still lack 4 engine bombers...

Sec. Hull: Well, if you want, we could place an order for a few of these aircrafts...

Japanese embassy....news..... flash.....

army intelligence are telling us that the U.S. is preparing to send military equipment to China. if this is the case then Washington should realize that by doing so will be considered an act of war. Military command is making all preparations while our diplomatic corps is still trying to negotiate with Washington. If war does come, then so be it, the full might of our glorious nation will be put to the only objective of ending outright U.S. aggression.[:@]

Bomber pilot 1: Look there, these are the new fighters.

Bomber pilot 2: Yeah, the P-36, and it seems there are lots of them, however, I´m not very impressed, it seems just a small improvement over our P-35´s. I would like to wait for the new P-40´s but there are rumors these aircraft will be ready only in 1940.

Bomber pilot 1: I hope the P-36´s will be enough to protect us for the Japanese fighters....there are lots of talks about an upcoming war with Japan.

Bomber pilot 2: Why in hell we would go to war with Japan? To protect the Chinese? There are lots of Chinese, we should send them some stuff so they could defend themselves

Bomber pilot 1: It seems the Japanese told us that it would be considered an act of war, but the whole thing is not clear, I believe they are bluffing....

Bomber pilot 2: I hope so, however, we were ordered to make some extra training flights in the next week

Bomber pilot 1: If we are going to war, I would like to fly something better, these B-18´s are so slow.....

Alermed with the growing fascist threat worldwide, the Progressive regime of Lazaro Cardenas, in Mexico, signed a mutual defense threat with the USA. These are good news. Meanwhile the port in Manila is close to collapse, with some ships waiting up to 5 days to unload-----censored-----censored

News seems to be heavily censored these days. Luckily the Reich reporters spread throughout the world, have their ways of getting telegrams through to Germany. Here is some news from China:

The Führer clenched his fist, his knuckles became white, and his lips tight. "Is this the report you have for me?" he asked, his voice gentle yet strained despite the posture he was posing. "Is this the report?" He asked again, this time alittle firmer, and his voice more strained.

"Yes, mein Führer" said the aide, who the Oberkommando the Wehrmacht had sent. His voice shaken and his eyes showing his concern for what might happen...

"The uboat losses are not that heavy considering we sunk at least 2 heavy cruisers, and a destroyer" The Führer quoted from the report. "We LOST 2 months worth of Uboat construction, because some fool in the Ubootflotte department was unable to stay away from the coastal waters of France and Spain! Unfathomable!!"

The aide looked very uncomfortable now, unable to supress a slight shake of the hands. He quickly put them behind his back, and stood at attention.

"... And Oberkommand des Heer is unable to take Prague???" The aide knew what was coming now, it was going to be one of those days that the Führer had a raging shouting match, and it was going to be against him. ...

Our glorious forces have begun the final preparations for the death nail of the Chinese regime. The southern front is all but won, while the northern front is finally at a point where we can crush their forces in this sector. i think it is time that we give the Chinese the choice in surrender or total defeat.

Our intelligence units have also discovered that England is building up forces in Indochina, so now the question is why. Could the Brits be preparing for a sneak attack on our fatherland. Interesting, will have to give this a closer look. As for America in the Philippines, if the yanks want I will be more than happy to send their ships and planes to the depth's of the ocean floor.

Just thinking out loud.... maybe it is time that i send my heavy ships and other units south ( towards the Philippines)and just say howdy [:D]

Dock worker 1: Well, all these containers are destinated to the military. They are saying the USA will try to stop the Japanese in China

Dock worker 2: I wish them good luck, it´s said the Japanese are making horrendous attrocities against the civilians in China

Dock worker 1: It may be true or not, I wouldn´t like to see a Japanese occupation here to get a definitive proof.

Dock worker 2: The Japanese won´t be stupid enough to attack us, I hope....

Dock worker 1: Who knows? If they are bold enough to attack a big country

Dock worker 2: They still might lose, there are rumors of a Japanese defeat in the North...it seems the Chinese counterattacked near Yenan and forced many divisions to retreat, but again...who knows the truth?

"Duce! Duce!"

The aide to the leader of all Italian People, came running with the latest intelligence report. The Duce had been in a good mood lately, his diplomatic corps had been working tirelessly on an agreement with Portugal, he could almost sense that this was going to be about this. Had they finally agreed to becoming an ally? Yes, that must be it!

"Yes..." answered the Duce, with a smile on his face.

"What is the news? Bring it to me."

The aide quickly handed over the piece of paper to the Duce, and stood at attention.

The Duce was right, this was about Portugal, but not at all the news he expected. The Portugese had signed a pact with the British!
