Replaced the file again, for some reason it increased filee size to 19MB (?!). So I copied again the file save from my ATG folder to dropbox again. Hopwefully we are ready to go on with the game.

ok, I'll check it. It wasn't the name, it was the file itself when I tried to open, it said Republic turn.

Trying again shortly

It seems the infamous French bureaucracy is the worst enemy of the French Army. An board of inquiry was created to find why more than 10.000 heavy machineguns are kept in army depots while no unity received the. It was just the fact that the wrong type of machine gun was authorized for French units. The FR Machine gun 1914 is an Italian one (and so we don´t produce it), but the FR was wrongly read as "French" instead of Fiat-Revelle. The officer responsible by the mistake was quckly executed and now the right machineguns are on their way to Infantry divisions. We expect the French infantry to perform much better now.....

Gents, I am prepared to concede this game and start a new testing game. Tom has thoroughly whipped my butt in the Eastern Front and there is no hope of fighting back against him now. My tactics and ideas did not match his and I lost. Let's move on to a new test game, perhaps?

If you want to play on, I will.

Factory investment is expensive in this MOD more so than the vanilla ATG, your force strength is half that of the other three players some 7k as opposed to 14k to 16k. Your base production is better than the other three powers but you don't have the force strength to defend your borders. Understandable as factory building in GD1938 is a important part of the MOD but in these games 2v2 you have limited time before the fight bell rings.

I disband one third of my militia units for PP putting the militia in the other two at the city.

I think the game is not decided yet, we are having troubles with the Germans in our borders, but, if you want, we can start a new one with v1.29.

It's over. USA is over-running me and into the heart of my territory.

Yes, I made alot of factories! Apparently that was a very bad decision...lol

There is the option of Twotribes playing both Germany and Japan, but it would be fairer to have a restart as Lordlau1 has some experience under his belt and a new version is available that removes one or two bugs like the AA movement bug.

Just a heads up I am out of the country for a couple of week, so internet will be of the hotel variety so my turns may come a bit spotty.

I would prefer a smaller map, if possible. I have a pretty full slate right now and the huge map takes me quite some time. I would be fine with a replacement for me as well if you guys want to move faster until I am more free.

Big map, four players? I would like a more watery world too. TwoTribes? IronDuke?

More water means less cities. Less cities means less production. But your choice.

Well, I like naval operations, however, if the other players want more land it´s ok.

I like naval action too but but being as your factories cost so much it is very hard to make much.
