So that brings to an end my attempt to list named ship losses within World In Flames turns. I am sure that this isn't perfect and some would treat ships differently in terms of loss (or effective loss) date.

But I think this gives a good flavour of how the naval war went for the various combatants as fortunes waxed and waned. There are just over 200 losses here and of course this is dwarfed in number by the losses of escort carriers, destroyers, submarines, corvettes etc.

I will attempt to list those, although it won't be in the same format. Instead I will go through each navy and place information directly onto each post (I think a spreadsheet is impractical here).

I hope this has been of use to those with an interest in the naval war.
