Hi folks,

Leningrad '44:

Briefing & town with wrong owner are fixed.

As to the Luftwaffe: That area was covered by "Luftgau-Kommando Petersburg" of Luftflotte 1.

Sadly i could not find any more details than that. Wikipedia claims AG North had 140 aircraft in that battle, but i could not find any major engagements in my sources or on the internet that names units or models etc.
Only Soviet bomber attacks from Leningrad airport are mentioned, but nothing on the German side.

If you have better information, i gladly add the units in question.

In the Panzer General II Leningrad scenario, there were 3 German fighters of Luftflotte 1 (L1):

Uranus:

Romania received "Bunker garrison" as new type and its added to the map.
Thanks,

Romanian Bunker Garrison may be useful for other scenarios.

Hi terminator,

2nd Kiev:

Found & fixed the error in the "keep-units" event. It has to be negated to work as expected which is a bit counter intuitive but that is how it is done.

Prague:

Bde Dirlewanger got their wagons taken away.

Bagration:

Messages use Soviet background now.

Kursk-Rumiantsev:

Merefa-message is triggered and there are no resources gained by that.

Courland & Warzaw are fixed (see image).

Leningrad Luftwaffe:

Those PG II screens are kind of a vague info. I could add a small up-to-date fighter force, but i really dislike adding units that were not in the battle.

River names:

That is suddenly a bigger issue. I have no idea were it came from, but currently it seems the editor does not save the names and in many maps the names disappeared. So this will occur on several occasions until the source of the problem is found and fixed. Beats me at this point.

It was a suggestion when I remember playing the scenario of Panzer General 2, the scenario in the current state is good.

The problem of river names has always existed. If we name all the hexagons of a river, only a few names appear on the screen (?)

Tip: if I want a river name to appear a second time at a specific location, I need to change the name presentation by adding a space at the beginning of the name (ex: "Volga" and " Volga").

Berlin

All German bridges over the Oder are blown up but there are no pre-deployed Soviet Construction Engineers units ?

I assumed the player could buy some engineers with the amount of resources givin at Berlins gates. But i could add one or two units if that is needed.

Yes, the player could buy some engineers with the amount of resources giving at Berlin gates but it would be wise to warn the player before recruiting in that case.

I did another test. If I reload the last turn of Budapest scenario, I do not see the Player's Victory Conditions in my version (?)

Will be there another Soviet Dawn Beta Test planned ?

Hi terminator,

Appreciated. I also see the point that you are given air supreiority for free, which is not ideal. Still amazingly there seems to be no info about which units were serving in this area at this time. At least i have no access to it.

Agreed, see image below.

Yes, in fact i wanted to prepare Ausf. B for the next test phase if nothing more comes up.

We might have to live with the "Known issues" for a while, as i cannot fix them. But they are rather minor and rather a little annoying than a hindrance to play or have fun.
