Possible NSFW warning from a certain Monty Python movie (if a mod tells me this is an issue will delete the video-the board software apparently doesn't have SPOILER tags, will leave as a link and not embedded):

RE: Unfortunate Son's counters
Unfortunate Son, do you plan to use the default map for your counters or any of the available map mods? I ask because smost of your counters use more than the original counter space, so the blending with the the map texture may be important thing to be considered. Did you test that?

Fulcrum28, Thanks for asking the question regarding the map. I have tested the counters created thus far on the original map in the games SCWIE and SCWAW. Any piece of the unit on the counter that extends past the counter edge will be clearly visible on the map. If you look at my avatar which is a good representation of what the counters will look like in game. You can clearly see the gun of the Tiger I extended out from the counter and is visible on the dark green.
Look closely at the other samples of counters in this thread, also on dark backgrounds. I have added a drop shadow to help pop the piece that hangs over the edge of the counter.
The next time I am testing the counters in game I will take some screen shots and post on this forum.
Fear not... they will look great in game no matter what map they are on.
RE: Unfortunate Son's counters

RE: Unfortunate Son's counters
Update:
I wanted to share what I am working on at the moment. I have bee trying to figure out what to place on the Engineer counter. Well after some thought and ideas between myself and Old Crow, we have come up with what I feel is very appropriate for the US, UK and IJN. Especially since they actually used them in the war.
So without further ado: Under construction is the Komatsu G40 bulldozer used by the IJN in WW2

In game images. Unfortunately they are a little blurry due to reducing the file size.

RE: Unfortunate Son's counters
This is at 100% in my file but the file has to be reduced significantly for this website. This issue is the files need to be reduced to be placed in game then you take a screen capture in game which is a png file which then has to be reduced again to go on the forum.
