After the season, they would go to South Korea and visit with Americans there!

Spurs second in table. I think talk here about us being in a relegation battle where a little premature. If we had held onto to the wins with Newcastle and West Ham we'd but top!

We do have on paper a really good team one which is able to finish in the top four again this season. I'd like to see Liverpool win again with Spurs, Leicester and Leeds (dreaming here) in next three spots.I'd love it if Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City and Arsenal miss the top four though highly unlikely they all miss out.

Looks like Evertons run has come to an end. Had to happen sooner or later. It seems this season won't be dominated by one or two teams which makes a change.

Finally we do have to finish in top four if not win to make up for losing against Everton. That alone has sullied this season badly

Well I offer up a different perspective. I think there is simply no way anyone can look at the performance against Everton and assume otherwise. We were absolutely awful - I mean shockingly bad.

What I can't fathom is why? I mean Holbjerg has been one of our best players - he's been immense - and yet against Everton he was appalling.

But as for being second. Well yes, if we hadn't conceded 4 goals in the dying minutes against West Ham and Newcastle we'd be right up there - but then if we were a genuine title chasing team we wouldn't have given away such sloppy goals/not scored more.

Top four? Well it would be good if played a LOT better than we did against Burnley and a WHOLE LOT better than we did against Brighton and a MASSIVE LOT better than against Antwerp..... Unless we improve then when we play proper teams like City and Chelsea in the coming weeks, we will be ripped apart.

I think you are over estimating the other teams who have hardly impressed if we hadn't already played them and won you'd have said Man Utd aswell. A good team can play badly and still win. I really don't think the others are playing great either no team is dominant. On paper out team is easy good enough for a top four finish I understand the pessimism but honestly I do think you are over estimating the opposition and under estimating Spurs. Our current line up is better than it has been for ages better than it was when we where in the top four finishes. We have only lost once in the last thirteen premier matches.

"Easy good enough for a top four finish". Well Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Wolves and Leicester (not to mention Everton and Manchester United when they've ditched Ole) would disagree.

I have been supporting Spurs for almost 50 years and so no - under estimating Spurs is not possible [;)] [:(].

But the good news is, either of us may be right or may be wrong and, Coronovirus permitting, we shall see in 8 months.

...yes there are!!!! Well done Scotland!! Commiserations to Northern Ireland

The Scots are the Spurs of world football. They dominated the 90 minutes, absolutely the best team and then......

But at least it came good in the end. See you at Wembley next year (hopefully)

RIP Ray Clemence indeed... we've lost an awful lot of 'big name' British footballers it seems in the last few years. Maybe it's just that this is the time for the generation of footballers that I knew when first getting interested in football and so each name means something more than simply XYZ, the ex-ABC footballer has died?
