What Is The Latest ETA?

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

I, for one, would love the two of them released at the same time. Interesting to hear that Matrix would tie your hands about such a thing.

no, I think you misunderstand my meaning

I can have everything ready, but I can't release it, I have to go though them to do so, they have to set up the download area, and all of that stuff

so I can tell you what I want to do, but they have to do the work, so it happens, it happens on there time line, not mine

Oh, I thought that Matrix was much like the place I teach for, but now I stand corrected. I do wish the manual would be released, so that we may see the differences between the old and the new versions. From the screen shots, there definitely are differences. I spent many an hour playing the old version of both games. I expect the new to be much better! J

Opening stuff added
music added
new/corrected artwork added
package built and ready for upload to Matrix to build us a installer

Matrix says they will add the manual on there end

waiting on instuctions on what they want me to do next

then upload, wait, and then test Installer, if all goes good, hand it over

then wait on Matrix to do what they got to do

Hard Sarge,

Will you be responsible for any patches / updates if they are needed. In other words will you be the contact person post release for any problems or will the tasks be split between various people responsible for tech support , OOB etc?

Hmmm

well, I will still be the project leader, Harley will still be the main Programmer, any issues or bugs posted here (or from what I think) will go to Harley to work on

OOB changes/corrections, I should be able to toss those out quick

patches/bug fixes may take longer

Just wondering if the product info page will be updated soon especially if it's close to release?

Current has no basic technical info, no scenario/campaign list (BOB/BTR - are these just the 2 scenarios/campaigns?), no screens, no system requirements; I would like to know some of these things while considering a purchase.

Thank you.

just remember, the one day battles are mainly for learning

the one week battles may be the better PBEM, or vs the AI

(short time, lot of pressure on both sides)

the "Main" game is and always was, the BTR 43 campaign followed by the 44 Campaign (BoB and BoB41)

(by 106x5, the only part of BTR that was really playable was the 43 campaign, now all are playable, have the OOBs/map reworked, but not sure how balanced they are)
