Pacific War is a DOS-based game (yes, it's been around *that* long). Unfortunately, starting with Windows Vista, the operating system doesn't support DOS anymore. You will have to get a DOS emulator such as DOSBox. The good news is that it's available for free at:
www.dosbox.com/
Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't every war fought between men, between brothers?

I have the C-64 Version along with War in Russia (need to see if its C-64 or PC version) and others, including the manuals. Found them just yesterday , while looking in my out room for something else. Is it possible for me to get a PC download "SAFELY" ? If anyone knows ,be it yes or no, I would appreciate it.

Thank You in advance , Respectfully ,

hi Stone Dog, you can download the Matrix version of the SSI computer wargame directly from the Matrix site on the web.
it's FREE and absolutely safe.
it's the same game as before with some enhancement here and there.
