This is a load of bollocks. I'm trying to fix a problem for my copy of Distant Worlds (Steam version works but the Matrix doesn't [&:]) and I get turned back every time. It's incredibly frustrating to purchase a game and then have an issue and wait for this stupid thing to end. And if it's in place because of ONE person some time ago, it's pretty ridiculous. This policy really needs to be dropped.

Agreed. Especially as most game manuals direct the PAYING CUSTOMER to seek game support on these forums. And now you encourage them to make spam replies to get up to the post count?

Why not just have <10 post users do a captcha before each post? I've never experienced such an absurd policy as this on any other game support forum. Shamefully inept.

The policy is quite effective. Anyway if you're being affected just PM me or open a helpdesk support ticket and we will add you to the trusted users group.

Thanks! I know how much of a pain this can be. I had similar issues come up when I was a mod on a forum site where we were getting bombarded with spambots non-stop. Thanks for all you mods do to keep these boards running!
