Had a very interesting team game with Ducados and I against Coyote on mediums. I got a Carnivore (1 BRG, 1 PL), Ducados got a Pyros (2 NM7, 2 Flamer, 1 SL.) Coyote got a Pyros and a Reaver (1 BRG, 1 CLG.) It took quite awhile for us to spot each other, and by the time we engaged, we were both a hex away, both of Coyote in the same hex, Duc and I one apart.
Early on, I set Coyote's woods on fire, and when one of him tried to flee by jumping my BRG dropped him back to earth for a whopping 21 damage, all to his LT. The reaver made it out, and landed in Duc's hex, where they commenced pounding. I took shots when I could, but didn't want to enter the burning wood. Then Coyote's Pyros charged Duc and knocked him down. While down, he took a lot of damage and had just gotten up when he overheated. Fearing an explosion, I turned and ran an extra hex away, but he never exploded, just had a lot of ammo explode until the titan was disabled. Unfortunately, when his titan died, he got booted from the game and messed up the queue for Coyote and I. Coyote, as host, got him on AI, but the timer was still messed up, and we started losing turns, weapons didn't always reload, and heat didn't go down sometimes. Even so, we kept on going, and his Pyros closed with me, while the Reaver sat down and took potshots. We played jump tag for a bit, then in an astonishing turn of luck, I punch the Pyros' head clean off. Then I sat down and started potshotting back at the Reaver, with my heat firmly hovering between high and critical. The timer got worse, and Coyote had to recover the queue every turn. After about 2000 mostly wasted seconds between short bouts of action, we finally decided to call it a draw. I was red in mt CT, LA, RA, LT and LoT. Coyote's remaning titan was red in CT, LA, and yellow in LL. He probably would've won, but it was very close.
This marks my first draw ever.
