Of course no problem, that's why I stopped there.
If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

Destroyed pool in N/D 1944.
Allies lost 5 planes and 4 pilots. That is what happens when you fight over enemy territory

Combined: Japan
Naval:
No Port Strikes.
Naval Air:
Japan:
FTR2 + NAV2 (N China + Japan) -> China Sea 3-box
Naval Movement:

Impulse #1 (Axis)
No contact in Bay of Bengal (5-5).
Next search is in Bismarck Sea. Any Allied air? Plenty of them available.

A NAV3 with 22 on range is also based on Truk.

Both sides roll 4. I am continuing with the assumption that Allies go with naval air, and all points to increase the damage on the SUB.

SUB is damaged. and stay for a second round. Allies stay as well with no new air. Or so I presume and roll for another search.

Impulse #1 (Axis)
Allies find again (5-2).
Edit: I was in error. The SUB is not automatically sunk, unless an abort is allowed on the US BB. Proceed with naval air and that should do the trick and sink the SUB regardless (or make it sit out the war in the repair pool).

Demoralized, the Japanese player doesn't bother with any further searches.

I apparently have messed up the save I got from peskpesk, so I was not able to complete out impulse. I hope to get a new save soon.
