A hotter-than-Phoenix morning tithe...
101F. in Pigs Eye yesterday, eh Chick.[;)]

It has been brutal here. Dew points in the 70's. Temps in the upper 80's low 90's. At least the severe thunderstorms have missed us. Bemidji area not so lucky. Two days in a row. One house outside of Grand Forks got hit by lightning and burned yesterday morning. The storms were just starting to brew-up, right over us as they moved off toward Bemidji.
This is one Czech that doesn't bounce.

Flying into and out of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and the Republic of Georgia, I remember looking down at the oppressive Soviet architecture. All faceless apartment blocks with seemingly identical flats. The "New Brutalism" style of architecture.

Oddly enough, I find it somewhat pleasant. If a get a chance, give this movie a shot (I've seen it with subtitles on DVD some time ago):

Its a pillar of Soviet cinema in its own right but the basic punchline is that all Soviet cities were filled with completely identical structures.

Hi all,
ORIGINAL: DivePac88

I had my E-mail account hacked earlier this year, and I hated it. It felt like someone had pulled down my pants, and looked up my @&$#. I always wondered why they did it, as they didn't mass-spam any of my address book. But after a couple of weeks, and after I had my E-mail account reset. I received a E-mail from PayPal, asking me to activate my new password. [:@]

Darn... [:@]

Did you sort that out Des?

Hey Des, Kristian asked me to pass along a "Hello" to you and to let you know you misspelled "Taiho" in your sig pic, but it looks like you've already taken it down. [:D]

Edit: Never mind, it must have been a forum issue. It's back. [;)]

Thanks Mike, and T, and I have corrected it, wonder what my spelling meant in Japanese. [:D]
