Very nice... I love screenshots ;)
Seems like you soon have enough to replace the stock ships for the campaign...

Salutations,

From what I have researched about BSG there simply weren't that many different combat ships on either side. I've noticed that many BSG craft are capable of carrying and therefore launching smaller craft.

Apparently, there were no cruisers per se. There were ships called Destroyers though, and they were potent in conjunction with the Battlestars. We will be including versions of a Cruiser in the upcoming mod. Oh, and by the way, don't expect to see all the ships we have in developement portrayed in the initial BSG mod release.

With that in mind... I think the developement of quality missions, which use the craft eventually present, will be paramount. Creating a mod of any quality takes a lot of time and effort. It can all be overwhelming beleive me. Ask Toshira. His personal little project has grown and with it the expectations of avid Starshatter and BSG fans.

The images I have posted were primarily intended to assure interested parties that progress was ongoing with this BSG mod and to hopefully show that quality could be expected.

As modders know.... texturing is one thing, deffing the ships for game use is another thing. Also very challenging in and of itself... not to mention, time intensive. Then there is the playtesting. Whooo.... I'm getting tired just typing this. I think I will take a nap.

Later.

Yea, I know it can be very tedious and boring at times... therefore I would recommend you release the mod in small parts. First some ships for people to look at and play around in the mission builder, then update that from time to time. This way people stick with you and you get more feedback on the way to completion. If you try to do all at once people will have to wait quite a while and many times lose interest before the release date arrives...

The Foundry ships are mobile construction docks often employed to process ore, build replacement hardware and conduct repairs on disabled ships. These ships were also used as mobile bases for mining companies.

They have a standard crew of 300. It carries 12 Mk.VI Shuttles 5 Raptors and 8 Mk.II Vipers. It has been upgrade with defensive weaopns. Say hello to your new colonial friend. The Foundry Ship.
