At the end of Spring 43, AV level was knocked down to 79, I think.
At the end of Summer 43, this turn, it was only down to 81.

However, the nasty Axis keeping building up more Victory Points. How annoying.

And yes, AV is on. I loaded up the file I was sent, AFTER doing posting my response, and I did nothing but advance the phases, and sure enough, AV kicked in just fine, so be patient evil Axis minions: I sure it is only another turn or two at most until you get your victory.

Very nice, however its beginning to feel like we're trying to finish off a Monty Python character. Everytime we hack off an appendage the WA/SU team keeps climbing back up claiming "I'm not dead yet". Keep up the good work guys.

Be careful with the maps you post your're giving away the exact location of your TF, not that it matters now I'm afraid, but for the next phase.

Japan - Fall '43: Here we go again. The WA chase Japan out of New Caledonia. We get a little revenge on the Transports, but he keeps the territory. Air strike on Hawaii destroys one of 2 remaining CV's in the Pacific. WA relying quite nicely on heavy bombers, long range fighters and a few remaining BB's at this point. Japan sends out another call for Hitler to send some boys to sea. Last remaining Indian factory bombed out. AV at 83 again.

turn sent to Kondor.

Belated German turn (Fall 43)

Germany continues hitting UK airfields, with mixed results. Meanwhile, strong forces push into Persia, threatening Allied forces in India. Major efforts to improve German raw materials extraction are carried out.

First, sorry to take a while. I didn't notice the turn come to me from Kondor.

Anyway, not a lot to do with Axis controlling the globe. A little bombing, some pecking here and there in the Pacific, and that's about it. A rather sad end to 1943. My early gross incompetence cost Russia their motherland, and now I feel very much alone in a hostile world closing in around me.

Dahnyul as WA sends turn to Dobeln (his W44 turn).

There was a good little battle between light naval fleets just of Madagascar..

Congratulations guys.
Good job on being the first game to finish.

I have just tallied up the AAR points.

Dobeln  3 x .25  =  .75
BoerWar   19  x  .25  =   4.75
Kondor   12  x  .25   =   3.0
Dahnyul  11  x  .25   =   2.75

If I made any mistakes let me know.
Remember you need a screen shot to get the extra .25pt per turn.

So finishing early means less screenshots as less turns so less points.

Wouldn't it be fair to give a bonus for finishing early???

0.25 pts for every 2 turns before end of the game for example???

Just a suggestion.

Finishing early as the Axis denies the Allies the chance to achieve points in the East vs West scenario.
That is worth more then gaining 1 or 2 more AAR points by going to 46 and posibly losing the victory all together.
The difference of one or 2 AAR points is minimal in the long term.

Thats how I see it anyway.

I thought there would always be a EastvsWest anyway. Now I see the point.
