Patrice, where is the Hercule Poirot Belgian unit? He defeats the Germans by inviting them to a large English country house and brilliantly tricking them into some tiny gaffe that betrays them as the murderer, leading to an instant armistice :P

Cheers, Neilster

Before you get flooded for requests, how much trouble is it for you to generate these avatars?

Be carefull Gurggulk, you saved it as a JPG file. It is wrong.
You should save it again as a GIF file, and put that GIF file as your avatar, not the JPG file.

No trouble.
1) Launch the game - no trouble.
2) Load a saved game - no trouble.
3) Enter the Units in Game form - no trouble.
4) Scroll down to the requested unit. If a unit diffcult to find, filter down the Units in Game Form so that it only show a restricted list of units.
5) Print Screen with the counter visible - no trouble.
6) Open Paint Shop Pro - no trouble.
7) Trim the picture to the size of the counter only - no trouble.
8) Arranging the image so that the corners are of the same color (flashy pink), that I set up as the transparency color - no trouble.
9) Save as GIF file - no trouble.
10) Post here - no trouble.
11) Post at the Playtesters' FTP for any person interested - no trouble.

In the end, no trouble, and I love doing that, because I love the counters. If I could, I'd do all 6000 counters.

I was checking out some counters and noticed something.  Can Germany build class 5,6 and 7 class Carriers in the future (in MWIF) ?

You're welcome.

But, you did the same mistake as Gurggulk, you saved the picture as a JPG, thus you lost the transparency (the corners show on your avatar).
You should save the file as a GIF file from the forum's post, and use that GIF file unaltered as your avatar.

If you can't do that (same for Gurggulk), send me an email and I'll send you the file as an attachment.

Also, here is the Gneisenau.

They can build :

1940 CVL Elbe, Class 1
1942 CVL Seydlitz (replacement from cruiser), Class 1

1936 CV Graf Zeppelin (already in construction pool), Class 2
1937 CV Peter Strasser (sister ship of Graf Zeppelin), Class 2
1941 CV Kleist, Class 2
1942 CV Yorck, Class 3
1943 CV Clausewitz, Class 3
1944 CV Barbarossa, Class 3

The AiF countersheet add the following to the WiF FE game :
1944 CV Adler, Class 4
1944 CV Arche Royal, Class 4
1945 CV Siegfried, Class 5

But these counters are not part of the MWiF countermix that does not include the AiF counters nor the PatiF ones.

No it's not fixed.
The file you have shows white corners.
Send me an email and I'll send you the GIF file with transparent corners (froonp at gmail dot com).

AiF is America in Flames and PatiF is Patton in Flames. Both of these add-ons start after the historical WW II ended. MWIF product 1 is limited to the addons for the historical timeframe for the war. That means that Asia Aflame and Africa Aflame modules are included in MWIF product 1 (it is easy to get all these abbreviations confused - I do).

Just to be even more precise, AiF & PatiF include air units and naval units from the WW2 timeframe that are added to normal WiF FE games.
The same way that WiF FE starts in 1939, it still have units that are dated from the 20s, even the 10s, and AiF & PatiF have units that are dated from the 30s and the early 40s.

There are
- 639 Land units from 1938 to 1951 (not counting duplicate units) (496 of them are from 1938 to 1945).
- 359 Air units from 1935 to 1951 (251 of them are from 1935 to 1945).
- 217 Naval units from 1926 to 1951 (not counting those that are not used in WiF FE games because already represented) (134 of them are from 1926 to 1945, from which the 3 what-if German CVs listed in the post above).

Edit : PatiF & AiF really allow the WiF FE game to be played beyond 1945 indeed.
