HELP! I'm serious. I just went over there and only ONE of my games shows up! Panzer Command-Kharkov. I own NINE of your games, including the most important WITP!!! Is it perhaps that my e-mail address had changed (actually more than once over the purchase time of the nine games.)? What do I need to do to get ahold of the "manual", not to mention the very important DISCOUNT coming up for WITP-AE!

I got it to print. No problem.

Except for using up one full color ink cartridge (and half of the next one)[X(]

and now....what do you do with 330 pages of printout?? Unless you happen to run a printshop and have some book binding tools handy?? I just imagined the chaos of me screaming at the kids, "who stole page 174!!!".

i read it onscreen, and will wait for the printed version in the box.

I did a printout also. Need something to read when riding the train on my way from and to work. If you do double sided printing its only 165 pages which.

I printed it out at four sheets per page. It's still legible (although barely) at that size.

Hi-I hope this is the right pew for my question.

WITPAE game manual, pg 129, 6.3.6, TF Officers. Is there some way to sort these officers by their "best qualified" skills?

Example: I create a new AC TF at PH. I assume( I know what that does to you and me) there is a list of officers to choose from. Does AE have the ability to sort a list of officers with different "best qualified to command...." by skill? I.E., will I have to scroll down the whole list to find a qualified AC commander, or can AE sort for that type of thing?

Thanks, Hugh Browne

Yes. When you select a leader to command a TF (or any unit) you're shown a series of columns with the various skills of the leaders in the database. The database can be sorted by any skill just by clicking on the title of the column.

OK, what is my problem? [&:] I'm searching the manual to find out what all the various HQs do and how they influence the forces under their command. I've read most of the manual and attempted several searches and just cannot find any info on this. Surely these issues are addressed in the manual. Can someone please take mercy on this poor, blind soul and direct me to the information?

Thank you.

You could start with section 7.2.1.5.

Then there's section 8.1.1.

Ahh...that's the ticket, thank you. I didn't realize the Table of Contents didn't show its sections that went deeper than the first level or two. I actually have to physically scroll completely through each section to really know what's in there.

Thanks again.

Hi Erik

If you wish to expand ownership of WitP:AE, is not counter-intuitive to restrict distribution of the manual to owners of WitP?

I would have thought that to make it freely available would generate interest in a new audience.

Best wishes

Richard
