Physical Shipment Status

Well they tried to do that but the Union (UCW) was having none of it and called strikes. The government has just shelved plans again to part privatise Royal Mail. It's a very thorny issue as a lot of people want it kept in the public sector.

It's not the Royal Mail (yet) - as far as I know whatever the problem was with those orders not starting to ship on Friday it was in the warehouse as I haven't seen any shipment confirmation. I will find out tomorrow morning.

Damn it! Just had UPS drive by my place, quickly followed by DHL....thought for a moment one of them was going to pull up at my house. But ,no confirmation email...no go[:(]

I've just confirmed that they are shipping copies from the UK warehouse today. A lot of the back-orders via that warehouse should be fulfilled today and tomorrow.

Erik what are the chances of getting US orders by Saturday?

The manuals have been released to our US warehouse by Customs, on a conditional release. We are expecting to receive them in the next hour. Assuming they show up, we will then start slapping those stickers on them, which we expect will take a business day.

If Customs then inspects and approves them quickly, we should be shipping them out by Wednesday. If there is a delay in the time it takes for Customs to approve them, it will be longer. We are at their mercy on this and we're just doing everything we can to shorten the delays on our side but we can't control their schedule. I really hope we'll have everything cleared up and shipping out from the US warehouse this week.

Couldn't you have brought the boxes and stickers to the warehouse and done all that in front of Customs to avoid the delay in trucking them, unloading them, stickers, inspection and then putting them in the boxes (shrinkwrapping too) and mailing?

They would not let us come to their warehouse until Wednesday and we would have to use their warehouse staff, at 3x the cost and no guarantee as to how long it would take them to finish, therefore doing it in ours where we know it can be done in 1 business day should be faster. Believe me, we are doing everything we can to get these manuals out to you.

It was not our choice to delay shipment, we're doing everything we can to speed it up and unfortunately by ordering a new game from a re-seller you will almost always get an additional delay because they get their first orders sent at the same time we send orders to our direct customers. Why not order digital + physical so you can download and play now while you wait for the shipment?
