Ooops. I didn't think of that. I already deleted the other files. I guess we'll go with the restart.

Alright the turn is done and in dropbox for CB. All again went well and there is only 1 copy of the turn in dropbox so no mistakes there. Now only CB download and do the turn and then reply in this thread when its done and the next player save for "LB" is up.

Odd since he updated his e-mail addy after I did and I updated mine after I had posted the turn to CB in the dropbox.
CB if you are reading this did you possibly post the turn in dropbox and forget to change the to? listing to the next player?

Turn done, renamed and saved to dropbox. Had some trouble downloading the update for ATG. Should be clear now.
Furthermore, Carthage must be destroyed.

Looks like Jay's turn is up. I do happen to know that he is on vacation for a week.
In order not to stall the game for a week I'm sure he wouldn't mind that I would play his turn. Especially in the beginnijng the'turns are pretty straight-forward.
I will wait for SailingGuy as the owner of this game for the go-ahead.

I have no problem with that. You'll see where he is on the map, but I hardly think that would be too much of an advantage on a map this big. You'll have to email him the password.

RE: 2012: Rise of Nations [RECRUITING PLAYERS]
Seems we are getting off to a very rocky start on this one. For my part sorry about the lack of familiarity with dropbox but now we seem to be moving into lack of availability for doing turns. This brings up the question can a 14 player game actually be undertaken with 14 peoples different schedules? If the participation level doesn't improve soon we might really want to look at restart with 8-10 players and pray that works out for us. Just bringing this up,I am certain I'm not the only one thinking this way.

If you can live with taking a turn once every two weeks. This is not my primary game, so I can deal with a slow turn around. However, everyone must be committed to turning the turn around in 24-48 hours.
If someone wants to start a 10 player game, I'll join that as well.

well at this point a turn take 5 mins max and I would think everyone could spare the time to do that once a day

I agree with you 100% on this at this stage of the game and the fact its taking so many days at this point bodes ill.
Perhaps we should explore another game as well, with less players who agree to do a turn a day if possible? I'm up for that game.
RE: 2012: Rise of Nations [RECRUITING PLAYERS]
My concern is that I'm going to forget about it!
