Freaking FINALLY!!!

Post by Terminus »

We're ready to move on. We've both got our RL stuff squared away, and Tanker just sent me the next turn. Write-up to follow sometime this afternoon (CET). Now if I can just remember what the h*ll I was doing when last I looked at this game...

Not with a BANG,

but more with a sort of "pffft" noise...

Erhem, 7/7/26 came and went with very little action, the only event of note being the unopposed landing of Imperial troops at Iloilo. At Bataan, our troops are straining at the leash to get to grips with the enemy fortifications.

And we're slowing down a little bit again... This time, however, it's because Tanker's doing some bug-crunching work, including the now-infamous resize bug. So...

To the sound of the guns...

Here we go again. July 8th, 1926 marks the long-awaited beginning of the siege of Bataan, as nearly 1,500 artillery pieces open a devastating barrage of the foe's positions.

With some 180,000 troops in place, and more on the way, Imperial intelligence estimates that we outnumber the American and Philippino remnants by 3-to-1 in both manpower and artillery. However, they do have the advantage of heavily fortified positions.

Elsewhere, more landings at other bases in the Philippines (see attached map). Off Wake Island, an Imperial submarine puts a torpedo into the side of a US destroyer, deftly avoiding the enemy's counterattack.
