There will be some adjustments to the current situation. The draft is not required at such a high level any longer. I was expecting many more casualties in this war. I will reduce it to level 2 soon.
Taxes will also be reduced. The effects of the high taxes on production is really quite strong. The Ottoman Empire needs much more timber and a maximum of textiles for further barracks construction-it is becoming very expensive in those components. With the improved banking situation, including new provinces, the treasury should be able to handle requirements at a lower rate.
It has been noticed recently that dropping taxes one point at a time is much more economical. To make the possible reduction of 25 per month cause triple the loss in revenue than only dropping it 1%. So; one percent it is.
Again, the combined pool target for the draft is only showing 2/3rds of the real amount. The correct figure is the sum of the current training and draft pool at the bottom. This is an anomaly of the levee in mass.
