I'm not a fan of the 3rd place in the Cl being parachuted into the Europa.

I have faith that Chelsea will mess up, and rapidly move onto their 3rd manager of the season.

Hannover 96 here, I will be looking in my atlas tonight or in google earth. No idea where our next opponent is from. All I know it is a long way east. If 96 keep playing the way they are at the moment, they will be ending their European travels this season. 96 are hoping to buy some new players to strengthen the team, just keeping my fingers crossed.

Anzhi Makhachkala

Just looked up on my google encyclopedia, which revealed quite a bit to my horror. It looks like Anzhi Makhachkala are the Republic of Dagestan's answer to Man City or Chelsea. A group of footballers who have been b(r)ought together, lured into an area, not heard by the western world, because of big $$$$.

Just hope that Hannover will have one of their better days when the play them in Feb 2013.

Well we made it though - quite comfortably 3-0.

Elsewhere, unfortunately Demba Ba could prove to be THE signing of any transfer window [&:][:(][:@]

1-1 vs Manchester United today - 92nd minute equaliser [X(]

We definitely deserved something from the game though - with better finishing we could have won it. Aaron Lennon played really well. [:)]

First time in about 300-years we haven't lost to Manchester United at least once in a league season. Hussah!

Best season against Manchester United since 1990. Congratulations. [:)]

But why, oh why, did you let van Persie get such an easy goal? Cool that you dominated against MU.

So what do you think of Villas now that the season has been going on for a while?

Yes, it was a rubbish goal to concede - I blame Walker for a lack of awareness [&:]

Last season at WHL we absolutely dominated the first half and they scored right on the stroke of half-time. We then came out really brightly at the start of the second half and guess what?.....ended losing 3-1.

This season we were dominant, although not as much, but just couldn't finish.

AVB seems to be doing okay, but there does not really seem to be a plan B. We need a top goal scorer to be contenders for anything - Defoe proved again today what we've always known - he's good, but falls short of being top drawer.

I think Chelsea are creating daylight now - and that means 3/4 teams going for that 4th Champions league spot -Arsenal, Everton, Spurs and now even Liverpool are starting to make a move (Sturridge could prove a really important signing).

They only went and won it!!!! Well done Bradford City. No fluke either - they beat Premiership Wigan, Arsenal and Villa on the way to the final. Good luck in the final [:)]

Speaking of which.....

Tonight its the 2nd semi-final - Swansea vs Chelsea. Another two-goal advantage from the first leg (2-0 to the Swans). Its going to be tough for them though - but lets hope they can do enough to meet Bradford next month

Well well well - what odds would you have got two weeks ago on a Bradford City vs Swansea final?

Excellent for the neutral [:)]

Going into any semi-final draw, all the teams can hope and pray for is to be drawn against the weakest, most useless POS possible - I guess Bradford City just got lucky [:)]
