What's the latest verdict on this beta? Since an official patch is unlikely, are there still open issues that people are seeing or have most of them been worked out?
I think its a much better game with the patch, now I just need to convince AirGriff of it so we can use it in the current PBEM Game.

I have added a EXE to tm.asp?m=3541548#
It fixes some issues with docked TFs and size of ship/TF, and possible Fast Trans TF.
Just unzip the file into the beta directory and use the beta shortcut.
I'll make a full installer later as I still want to see how the FT TF behaves first.

One thing that bugs me a bit is that you can land LCUs from a transport TF (= LCUs arrive in strat movement mode), change movement mode to combat or move and give movement orders - and the LCUs start moving in the new movement mode immediately, although they are still labelled "unpacking". Yep, me too, with the 'v' beta. I strat a unit to a city; the unit arrives. I switch to 'move' mode and set a destination. The unit starts moving immediately, even though it has 1 or 2 or more days of unpacking remaining. It is convenient for getting units there faster, but somehow I doubt that moving while unpacking is WAD.

I can second this. I have moved into a PBEM game with AirGriff without the Beta and while we have not had any game breaking bugs hit us yet I miss some of the features to streamline the game the Beta had.

In my opinion there isn't any good reason to not upgrade at this point. The additional features and game play enhancements far outweigh any potential downside.
My game has been solid upgraded through multiple versions of the beta.

I'm going to remove the mode check and just not move if un/pack is not zero.
Any objections or reasons why this wont work?
