Strange Message in Preferences Screen

Post by GaryChildress »

What does the message "Add 1.60 database changes to this user designed campaign" mean? I happened to come across it in the preferences screen in the CHS game I'm playing? It looks like it can be clicked on and something will happen, but what? [&:]

Someone has asked before:

http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=886979&mpage=1&key=1%2E60%2Cdatabase%2Cchanges&#886979

I saw somewhere that detailed the changes to the 1.60 database, but I can't find it right now. The changes were small and scenarios created after 1.60 probably already include them.

Do not click on it for CHS scenarios, it's ment to update *official* scens. CHS has already all those chamges and more, it might mess some ships and devices when applied on CHS.

Sardaukar is right. If you are playing ANY scenario other than stock, you do not want to click this button. It will overwrite the data for many of the units in your scenario - which is a main reason that you are playing a scenario other than stock in the first place...
